Honestly I love how bizarre the history behind the Yellow Submarine movie is. The Beatles didn’t wanna do a contractually obligated film so they didn’t do the voices, just the songs, then tried to add a live cameo at the end when they found out that didn’t count. The guy they hired to do George wasn’t even an actor, the directors overheard him in a pub and thought his accent worked perfectly. He turned out to have been a deserter for the British army and they arrested him in bed with a woman from the production and nobody knows what happened to him after that. The director only got to do this one movie, all his other credits are for television animation just because this was all anybody gave him. There’s a single frame where the Glove is flipping the bird. They didn’t even credit the voice actors.
