intro post!

hi, we’re the cottage pack (name pending), an autistic DID system that’s just chockablock with ABO introjects! we’ve just started to dip our toes into the concept of misce identities, so we wanted to have a set place to do that. we’ll be making a separate blog for more nsft misce/ABO content, but this one is for the whole pack!

we don’t have a set DNI beyond “no bigots/creeps/jerks”, but will block freely. also, we are exclusively, heavily traumagenic, but this is a safe place for endos, and that’s the last we’ll say on the matter. any attempts to drag us into any kind of discourse will be swiftly blocked.

also! this is a sfw blog, and system littles are welcome, but for personal reasons we aren’t comfortable with anyone who is bodily a minor following or directly interacting (reblogging or liking our posts on other people’s blogs is fine), hence the 18+ rule. as such, if we catch any minors or ageless blogs hanging around, you will be blocked.

we might add rules of interaction as we get more established, but for now, please just be nice, and keep it family-friendly, thanks!

Human neck possesses the most vulnerable veins on neck area including Carotid Artery and Jugular Vein.

Fun fact : It takes you 5-15 seconds to die from cutting either of these two :)

So biting your partner on your no-no vein place is very dangerous

The mating bite should be located on your shoulder near neck, where there is lessened possibility of your ultimate demise .

Sometimes you just gotta build a nest to shove your idiot Alpha into because they're so busy taking care of others they forget to take care of themselves. You tuck them in tightly and issue a warning growl that they better stay put and relax for fucking once, and you will be back soon with soup because you are very aware they've forgotten to eat again.

And once that meal has been finished, you flop bodily on top of your Alpha, both to ensure they can't run away and the pressure is like a weighted blanket, maybe it will help calm their frantic frazzled mind and let them sleep in peace for once.

You're definitely not letting them escape the nest until they've slept.

Any other nonhumans get very particular about scents?

Like, some people were over my house today, and although I stayed in my room and avoided them as much as possible, they must've been wearing perfume or deoderant and now my hallway smells off.

It's complicated because while my room is my den and where I'm most protective of, my house is still in my territory. So when people are over, even if they're not in my room, it still feels like they're intruding.

And now the smell is all wrong too. My house has candles and such going usually, so the air has a specific smell. But we pause them when people are over, which means instead the stranger smell is everywhere. It's why I keep my room locked off and have my wax melting all the time.

Can anyone else relate?

Premake your meals if you plan on nesting.

I cannot stress this enough. If you are an individual who nests, (yes even some of you alphas and betas) and you don’t want to stay away from your nest too long, premake some meals or have prepackaged food on standby.

This has helped me immensely because I don’t get overwhelmed by having to prepare food while needing to nest. By having food ready, I can eat and then return to my nest.

There are some who will bring food into their nests but I usually don’t out of fear of getting itchy crumbs in it.

The less things for you to worry about, the better you can enjoy your nesting time!

Thinking about how significant scarves could be in omegaverse. This may be because of how much I like scarves, but I’m going to indulge myself.

-They collect a surprisingly strong scent, since they’re around the neck so much. I suppose this could change depending on how you wear it, but at least mine collect my scent very well.

-They can protect and hide your neck and bonding gland

-They’re very easy to sniff at any time because of where they’re worn. You could even wrap it around part of your face if you really wanted a constant scent. This could be very soothing, especially if the scarf has a loved one’s scent.

-They’re also easy to steal borrow from someone else!

Scarves acting like handkerchiefs used to!!

Giving your scarf to someone with the excuse of “you seemed cold” or something, so that they can have an excuse to smell you when it’s not socially acceptable to scent them yet (like when you haven’t started courting yet).

Idk idk my ma has told me that when she was a kid if a girl was crying, or if a guy had “something on his face”, or any sort of excuse you would give them your handkerchief as a sign that you liked them. And that they were often something you embroidered yourself with a pattern personal to you or with your initials, and that you would spray them with your perfume/cologne so they could smell you when they got home.

It just seems like such a cute ritual lost to time and scarves in omegaverse could TOTALLY do the same thing (even more cute because it’s your own scent and not your perfume).
