⭐️ DIFFERENT KINDS OF REWARDS ⭐️
puppy regressors: always having a little bag of their favourite treat in my purse, the puppy already getting excited when they hear the crinkle of the bag - "down, sweetheart, give me a second" -, quality time together like playing games, and of course literally any form of physical affection!! hugs, head scratches, belly rubs, all paired with some sweet words <33
kitty regressors: a bit trickier- lots of praise but making sure it doesn't come off as condescending, and maybe an exciting new toy!! lots of playtime, and going to new places to explore... but also cuddling when they're sleepy, brushing their hair and making some warm milk for my kitty <33
baby regressors: loooots of praise, all whispered words and cooing because they're such a good little baby, aren't they? yes they are :) holding them and gently playing with their hair or stroking their back, feeding them they're favourite foods and cuddling - anything that's very warm and soft <33
toddler regressors: toys!! a new activity book with fun puzzles, a cute little stuffie, a picture book we can read together... but also encouragement, making sure they know i'm proud of them and that they're so amazing and can do anything they want - plus maybe a trip to the playground, and a biiig cuddle from mama <33
middle regressors: some genuine words of praise that are half heartedly batted away - "no, kid, i mean it" - and making their favourite food, taking them to the mall or a restaurant and then seeing them off as they go meet a friend - maybe giving them a little cash for the movies or an ice cream, and sharing a hug that they pretend to find embarrassing <33
