I'm not sure how many people will find this useful but I love the cottagecore aesthetic and wanted to show how I mix my cottagecore and agere life into one! However, it seems most agere creators are into babycore, kidcore, kawaii styles and similar aesthetics! (No hate intended, I love these aesthetics too) You could also modify these to suit your aesthetic too!
π»Crotchet blankets and toys-these look so cottagecore and are cheap, plus so cuddly. Extra bonus-- if you can crochet you can make your own! I sadly haven't learned to crotchet yet but someone I know created me a love heart pattern crochet blanket for free and I love it. They also made me a bunny!
π»Forest animal designs! Forest animals are a very common thing to find on baby items, whether it be foxes, bunnies, hedgehogs etc. You can find loads of sippies, bottles, blankets etc with these on in your local store.
π»Pacis! Get pacis in cottagecore colours, such as earthy tones(browns, reds and greens). You could also get centres with mushrooms, frogs or flowers, which all seem very cottagecore.
π»Baking! We all love baking, so why not! Make cakes and sweet treats or bread to make jam sandwiches with! You could even make cookies and shape them into childish shapes!
π»Books, books and more books! Ahh, I love books, but sometimes it's hard to find cottagecore style books that don't take me out of little space, which isn't really long. But...Fairy tales! I love books on pixies, elves, brownies etc. They are always so fun, leave me feeling peaceful and normally have a good moral to teach. Whilst this author has done *many* bad things, her stories were a huge part of my childhood: Enid Blyton! The wishing chair, the Malory towers collection etc. Just note, she has some very racist depictions in her books (which I strongly dislike, so I colour them in with fun colours), but please be cautious if you would not be comfortable with this.
π»Flower crowns are such cute accessories and really easy to make. You could do this one, with friends, family, lovers and your cgs! Become your true flower royal self!
@cozycottagekiddo!! I listened to all the episodes of your podcast so far and I love it so much!! I already subscribed and I canβt wait to listen to more!!
