whatever you do don’t think about your otp winding down after a party and it’s just them and a handful of other people in the room and everyone’s kinda split off into little groups and it’s just the pair and there’s still music playing and one of them drags the other out onto the dance floor and coaxes the other into dancing and you know, one of them is a good dancer and the other is an absolute nightmare but they’re laughing and having a good time and it feels like they’re the only two people in the world right now as they fumble through a dance that isn’t right for the music and try not to step on each other’s toes

He hadn’t. It might’ve moved to the bottom of his concerns list, but he hadn’t truly forgotten just what he’d asked Thor and what Loki had, apparently, heard and was ready to do. Which, of course, was just going to end in something horrible happening, because such was life, and such was life with Loki in range.

Like being kidnapped, for instance.

“This is not at all what I meant, Loki. I wanted a nice, quiet evening at home with friends and family. Not kidnapped and held hostage, acting like bait while my friends fight to get to me.” Looking around, Steve frowned before turning his curious gaze towards Loki. “Where even are you holding me?”

ok so i know my queue is about to start spitting out replies in the next day or so but i just want to say

i’m probably not going to be super around for the next 3-4 weeks because i have:

regular schoolwork

exams

stupid scheduling issues

normal work stuff

product demos at work

family holiday things

normal life stuff that somehow has to happen around all of this

anyway my anxiety and stress is up to 11 so i’m just not in the mood for writing anything that isn’t super indulgent right now. i’ll be lurking, shitposting, and sporadically doing replies that make me happy until about the… 10th of december? sure we’ll go with that.
