how i fucked up april fools day
I made an april fools prank for my friend where I edited the website of our local newspaper and made it an article about how her house is being investigated for Crack-Cocaine distribution. I sent it to my one friend like is this funny, and then i forgot about it.
SO
I walk into school today and THE WHOLE SCHOOL (i mean all 1500 students and teachers and janitors) read the article and thought it was real and everyone was freaking out and I feel terrible because I didn’t want anyone to see it other then my friend and the girl who I was going to prank. I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW OUT OF CONTROL IT WAS, it got over 6,000 pageviews (i live in a small town so that is a lot) and the principal was called by 3 parents about the crack-cocaine investigation. I am now being investigated by my school, and the publication is determining whether or not I broke copyright laws. SO BE SAFE ON APRIL FOOLS BECAUSE SHIT CAN GET OUT OF HAND FAST
