hawthorne and nemo meeting would be hilarious bc hawthorne thinks her life sucks (it does) so she must be a diva about it and use self confidence to get over it but then meets nemo whose life is probably quantifiably a LOT worse and hawthorne is like what the fuck have i been complaining about then. to make matters worse nemo is dating the wizard that she rejected then accidentally encouraged to become a god

i love thinking about what problems to give my characters.... hawthornes persistant nightmares of drowning and a fear of a total loss of control represented by being forced to change into a mindflayer and everyone she loves diappearing and nemos antisocial touch avoidant paranoid tendencies and using violence as a way to feel in control.... girls with problems around control <3
im also giving them my GI problems

very funny to think abt shadowthorne notttt lasting as a couple very long after canon bc so much trauma catches up with them but i need to finish nemos playthru bc if i accidentally get the god gale ending nemo specifically would go ballistic she cannot have yet another god breathing down her neck especially one with whom she loved romantically

post canon hawthorne would be deliciousssss bc even though she survived and shadowheart survived and theyre together shadowheart is still bound to shar through her wound so hawthorne has nightmares about shadowheart disappearing into the void forever and she has nightmares about the emperor still being in her head and in his fury at her betrayal turns her illithid against her will and her whole distrust of the gods and gales choice now takes a new face because what if the new god wearing her friends face smites her off the face of the earth and her old nightmares of getting swept away from the current and drowning come back full force. haha evil laugh evil laugh

superrrr quick sketch bc i wanna expand on this but i love that even if you get the good ending of defeating the absolute it still doesnt feel like a victory bc how certain companions quests ended and the fact the city is very much on fire / nearly destroyed. like hawthorne very much still feels bummed bc karlach and wyll had to go to hell, gale became a god and it horrifies her, she wasnt able to fully convince laezel of vlaakiths treachery so she killed orpheus and is now staying on the mortal plane, shes tired and unhappy ! which is funnn
