This more current form of teaching/coaching which will give students a better grounding for life in the here and now. I wish all countries would look at a similar system, as our kids need far different skill set to traverse this modern world than we ever did.

Anxiety is a really big paper tiger looming over you day and night. You see almost everything as a problem as your brain is stuck in Olympic sprinter mode working to protect you. You see we have a 2 million year old brain that isn't designed to make us happy, calm or relaxed - rather it is designed to keep us fearful, suspicious and Alive. Great if you live in a time of lions and tigers and bear but most of us live in a world of pampered cats, puppy dogs & supermarkets, so our brain finds other things to be afraid of. Stupid things that we know in the logical part of our brains are fine. Comments, our weight, cars, dentists, public speaking, new schools, dating, embarrassment to name a few. Our brain floods us with chemicals & hormones so that our bodies Feel like that paper tiger is real. It is debilitating even though we know that it's not real it damn well feels real. I read a great book called Dare look up the app and you might get a free copy. I keep a gratitude journal, at first I thought it would be hard to do as I was in a state of depression as my life was in a trying place. But little by little I found it easier to find things in my life that I was grateful for. First was my cat jumping on my lap and making me giggle, then my partner brought me a cup of tea without me asking, I found a hairbrush that I had lost. Try it out for a day, just pay attention and write it down as it happens. Day 1 you might find one thing and it can also be things that you remember. Gratitude by Teesha Morgan Original Digital Drawing This Colouring page has taken me longer than any other so far and is the reason for my absence from social media for the last week or so. I did it with digital drawing software and it has been such a steep learning curve as the process is so different, but my shaking hands don't stop me making digital artwork which is awsome. Each flower is an original drawing which took hours! But it looks amazing and it is of high enough quality that I can use it to print on stickers, cards, clothing, cushions, dresses and ever quilt covers on Redbubble. I called this one Gratitude as I have added a Gratitude practice to each morning ala #tonyrobbins & #daveasprey to help with depression, anxiety, pain & motivation. One of the things that I am always grateful for is the abundance and diversity of flowers and I wanted a piece that devoted to just flowers, but a couple of butterflies flew in to add a little pizzazz lol.
