So I got to talk to the receptionist who handles this and theres 2 bits of news

One is that I'm only getting the $6500 bill. The other is for fillings and I'm going to just get those done at my regular dentist because I flat out can't afford almost $13k for my fucking teeth.

The other is bad news!

I need to get $1000 of this by Wednesday, February 17th so I can book the actual appointment.

You read that right. I need 1000 dollars in 6 days so I can actually get my appointment date. I currently have $330 in my paypal. Not to raise any further alarm, but uh... my mums boyfriend had to leave his job because of chemical burns on A Lot of his body that have been getting steadily worse, and our car is completely inoperable now! My mother is now currently our only source of income, and she's on disability and only gets 1300 a month. Which is our entire rent + bills WITHOUT groceries.

So uh. Any help on the dental front will be a MAJOR stress relief for us, since we're going to be in an incredibly tight spot for a while.

so i have made a few posts talking about this, but my mom is Making Ultimatiums that are going to fuck me over financially just for the hell of it. i am currently unemployed, receiving no more benefits, and i have absolutely no savings. at this point i have a negative balance on my bank account and i have nothing much i can do about it. i am a trans man with adhd, ptsd, and severe depression so it has become inhospitable in my current living environment, and i need to move, except i currently live in one of the most expensive places in the US and i don't know how to drive. basically, i need to buy a bike, get a plane ticket, and find a job. so this is a mutual aid request but also like. if any of you know of any trans people who know of any trans safe living areas that are not wildly expensive, please message me!

Institutions of abuse are everywhere. Do everything within your power to stop them whenever you see an opportunity. If you see a sign in your rec center that’s some sort of open call to a Christian church meeting but doesn’t have any real info on the church, maybe let me know. Don’t call the number, I can call the number. If you feel the need to do research on your own, all you need to check is whether they refuse to give you a straight answer about the name.

Hi everyone. I know it’s Christmas Eve and I wouldn’t even think about asking but...it’s starting to look scary and I didn’t even know how scary it was until my dad told me that he doesn’t know when he’ll be able to return to work and doesn’t know if we’ll be able to pay the bills in January.

In short; he got hurt on a job in November, and he hasn’t been able to return to work since. We’ve had the money until now to pay bills but it’s running out. And like I said, it’s starting to look scary.
