Sometimes I just look at him and smile and he always asks me what’s so funny and I don’t know if I could ever tell him that I’m just so crazy about his broken nose and misaligned bottom teeth. It’s especially bad when we’re alone, there’s just something about the way he leans his full weight on me when he finally falls asleep or the small smile on his face while he lays in my lap and I play with his hair that makes him more interesting than any movie we could ever be watching. What I’m trying to say is that I look at you and smile because I have never been this crazy about anyone and even on your worst day your face is my favorite. I can’t take my eyes off you and how could I not smile when I realize you’re mine and I never have to take my eyes off you.

We watched three movies and I couldn’t tell you what happened in any of them (via secretly-satans-sweetheart)

a) you’re NOT a baby, life is incredibly freaking HARD. 

b) i’m 42, my daughter left for college last year, and i am literally learning how to be a a functioning single adult for the first time… (like, i don’t remember to EAT until 10:30 at night, because i’m not like, “oh, hey, it’s dinner time, i need to feed my kid” anymore and i don’t know how to just take care of myself)
