give me more stories with a trans guy as the main character. give me a action movie where the hero has to take his shirt off bc he got hurt and we see his top surgery scars right in front of us. give me a sitcom where the trans guy talks openly about his period without him being laughed at. give me a drama where the main guy is a father and the story shows how his kid grew up while his dad went through hrt and turned from being a mom to a dad, without it implying that the trans dad is less a man bc he gave birth. give me a romcom where the main love interest is a trans guy. give me horror where the main guy has to face his abusive past from transphobic family members by fighting monsters, and winning through blood and sweat. give me a happy old trans man who lived through decades and survived despite the many tragedies. give me a young nervous trans man who just started to explore his identity and get support from older queer folk. give me trans men from different time period and countries and how their identity would be shaped there. give me more trans men. give them a happy ending.

Hello fellow Internet weirdos! I am writing Gravity Falls fanfiction, and I've had a headcanon before that all the spoofed names in GF (like brands for example) were mostly exclusive to the town of Gravity Falls and outside of it most names were just like irl ones.

I however in current times can't make up my mind on if I should write that or go more canon and use spoofs.

i’ve warmed up significantly towards the concept of small talk ever since i learned that its sole purpose is to make friendly noises.

as long as you smile and nod, people are satisfied. it’s just to show that you are nice and there with good intentions. we’re small in a big world and have to rely on other people to be decent to us. so we do our little human dance to each other to say, “i’m not here to hurt you. here’s something we have in common, like the weather or sports or itchy sweaters, so we both know we’re on the same team. we both agree on a basic fact, like that it is rainy or that being itchy is uncomfortable, and this proves we can get along. i’m being light-hearted and non-threatening right now.”

small talk isn’t to get to know a person. it’s just a greeting to affirm you’re buddies in the universe.

i am motivated by wanting the other person to know i am friendly, so i have gotten pretty decent at small talk when i used to hate it.

by the way, if you talk like this to a stranger in real life, you might get a black eye. I don’t condone violence, but sometimes if you fuck around, you’ll find out. it’s one thing to joke like this with your friend, someone you’re close with. but a stranger? know your boundaries.

hey so I wasn't fantasizing about enacting violence towards a stranger, I was literally warning them that if they talk like this to someone (not me) in real life, there might be a not-so-pretty consequence. in case you can't see, I literally said "I don't condone violence".

if I warn someone that they may get run over by a car if they run into ongoing traffic, it doesn't mean I fantasize about them being run over by a car, it means I was warning them that they might get run over by a car if they did this, because... you know, I didn't want them to get run over by a car. hope this helps

Honestly bizarre that tomatoes get all the flack for “not being a vegetable” because they're technically a fruit when:

A) There are a ton of fruits that get categorised as vegetables. Like this also applies to pumpkins, squashes and cucumbers.

B) The fucking mushrooms are standing there at the back of the crowd in this witch trial, trying to look inconspicuous because they somehow got into the vegetable club with no fucking controversy despite the fact that they're not even plants.
