So exit the fall, and now it's over. { Indie Namine RP Account }
I’ve moved accounts! I will be using the new account from now on, so feel free to follow me there! I plan on getting things going there soon.
( I’m debating on moving Namine to a new blog. This account has seen a lot of changes in the past 3-4 years that I’ve had it. Roleplay partners have come and gone, relationships budding and fading--lots of things. A fresh start might be nice. I’ll post and update if/when I decide to go through with this! )
/ This is going to sound random, but I'm really craving a Persephone & Hades AU. Namine would be Persephone of course and perhaps an Organization member (or even someone else or a character outside of KH) could take the role of Hades. It could be actual Greek mythology or it could be modernized. I just really want this.
Would anyone be up for it...? Sending me an ask would be nice because if you like the post and want to I won't really know for sure that you do pfft--
( Hi hello I am alive.)

It had been a long time since he’d had a flashback like this. Even longer since it had crippled him so badly. But here he was, on his knees, with claws scraping against the thick bark. His one saving grace was that he had managed to make it through that crack in the wall into these woods.
He was pale, sweating as he tried to blink his vision back into focus. But the remnant peals of Darkness cloaking him made that near impossible. His cheeks and jaw were covered with deep scratches, but he paid them no heed as he drew his fist back, and punched the tree with an enraged shout.
One punch after another, after another, after another. Before he finally called it quits and rested his forehead against the tree. At first, nothing. Then his shoulders jerked with a hiccup. Then one, then another as he dragged his hands down and buried his sobbing face in them.
The woods were often a quiet place. It was one of the reasons why Naminé preferred to live in the abandoned mansion. Unlike Castle Oblivion, nothing could really bother her here. She was safe, more or less. Her only visitors were the few kids who dared to find the 'ghost' that haunted the halls of the mansion.
But the woods weren't quiet today. She could faintly hear something--but she couldn't tell exactly what that something was. The witch was tempted to ignore it, but the noise continued on until she finally decided to leave the mansion to investigate.
The sound had died down by the time she made it to the woods, the only noise she could now hear being the sound of twigs snapping beneath her feet. Naminé had been tempted to turn back, but a new sound reached her ears before she could do so. Was someone ... crying..?
Venturing further in the direction of the noise, the blonde spoke softly, hoping not to scare whoever it was. "Hello..?"

Pulling away from the window, he turned towards her. Fear took over him and he felt as though he’d collapse right then and there. He went over to sit on the bed beside and let out a deep breath.Â
"Naminé… I killed someone." He said softly. He bit his lower lip, afraid of how she would react, but before she could he thought it would be best to try and explain himself.Â
"It was an accident! I swear. You know me, I lose my temper quite easily. The guy… well, he came at me when we were already yelling at each other. I didn’t know what else to do so I grabbed and knife and now he’s dead." He went on with his tory, looking at his hands. Even if the blood was gone, he could still see it and feel the warmth of the liquid. "I didn’t know what else to do so I ran and threw my clothes into the river… and I came here because I thought they wouldn’t be able to find me."
He ... had killed someone? He told his story to her, explained in detail how he had carried out the murder, and yet she still couldn't wrap her head around the idea of Roxas being a murderer. Why would he do such a thing? Naminé had always known about his temper, but she had never thought that he would kill someone because of it.
".. Are you hurt?"
Despite her question, she was still trying to think of what she should do. Â Roxas was her friend, and she had been telling the truth when she had told him that she couldn't easily stop caring for him.Â
"And does anyone know that you've come here?"
Lying comes easily to many, even if it isn’t believable. They do it for in order to hide what they really want. The puppet walked over to the witch, it’s always been about the puppet and what’s she needs to do, always her suffering. But what if she was suffering too, she was being selfish of course other people suffer. Though she just met the delicate witch she could tell there was something off from her, or use to.  ”Then why are your eyes tired. Why do you smile with such sad eyes.”
It was a rare occurrence to be called out on her feelings. Perhaps it was because she shouldn't be able to feel. It was easy to pretend such things didn't exist when carrying the mindset that they actually didn't.
Still, she was supposed to be the one who helped others. Wasn't that her role within everything? She had done her best to help Sora, Riku, Roxas, and Xion. Namine didn't need help, didn't deserve help. Witch's didn't call out for such assistance.
"Your eyes must be deceiving you, Xion."
Hearing her voice, he had not expected that to come from the group of individuals before him. He knew that voice, and had missed her, even as he saw her Somebody often enough. Namine. She was here, somewhere. Taking a deep breath, he was able to pick her out rather easily, and from there, he moved towards her, as the others of the crowd began to look away and go on with their lives.Â
"I’m fine…" He answered the blonde Nobody, but his teal eyes were sharp. "Namine, what are you doing here?"Â
"Should I not be here?"
The figures around her disperse within seconds, leaving the two alone. Â Her hands clasp together in front of her, a posture that she usually took when talking to someone. It was a habit, one that she had never really gotten over.
"I thought I would check up on you. It's been a while."

"No, here is fine. It’s a lot warmer in your room and I never liked sleeping alone." Roxas rubbed the back of his head, letting out a sigh.
His attention turned back to the window, pressing is forehead to the glass. He couldn’t string the words together to explain what he had done. The awful crime he had committed. She would turn him away the second she knew, he was sure of it.Â
"…What if… What if I did something really bad? But, I didn’t mean to, it just sort of happened. Something so bad, but at the same time it felt kind of good. Would you still care for me then?"
She gives him her full attention as he speaks, curiosity filling her along with dread. What could he have done that was so bad? That lead him to her doorstep at such a late hour--and in the rain no less.
"There's nothing you could do for me to stop caring for you. Feelings aren't so easily erased." She could be mad at his choices, yes, but would she stop caring? More than likely not. Naminé couldn't think of anything that would cause her to turn her back to him indefinitely.
"Roxas ... what did you do that has you worrying over such things?"

"No, it’s great. I’m surprised you put it in your own room, though?" Roxas shrugged, slipping on the shirt she had given him. He dropped his pants on the air mattress and let out a groan, dropping his face into his hands. The whole thing was just so stressful and he wanted Naminé to know, but damn.
"Hey…" He spoke softly, walking towards the window and looking out. He watched the droplets of water run down the glass. "What do you think of me?" He asked. Hopefully, she didn’t have high expectations of him. He’d hate for her to find out and let her down completely.
"Well, would you prefer it to be in the living room?" Naminé didn't really mind. She trusted Roxas, therefore she didn't see anything wrong with having the mattress in her room. She had just figured that he would feel more comfortable in there than out in the living room.
Moving to sit on the bed, she raises an eyebrow. What kind of question was that? She hadn't expected him to ask a question like that. Strange.
"You're one of my closest friends and always have been, of course. I think it goes without saying that I care for you a lot. But why are you asking that all of a sudden?"

Roxas felt like he was waiting for what felt like years. He could be impatient at times, but maybe he was still so shaken up about the murder. He could still feel the knife in his hands as it pierced through the other’s stomach, blood gushing out onto his clothes. It was an intersting sight, sending chills down his spine. For whatever reason, it gave him a pleasant feeling. In the back of his head, the blond was screaming at himself.
How could he have turned into such a monster? What if he tried to kill NaminĂ©? No, that couldn’t hapen. He had more control over himself, besides he didn’t like the other guy. If they hadn’t got into a fight maybe this would have never happened. Â
What a mess.
When his clothes were finally done, the blond pulled out his pants and boxers. Slipping the boxers back on and putting his pants over his shoulder. He stepped out to find the shirt NaminĂ© had left him. He held the clothing in his hands while walking to her room to find her and the air mattress she set up for him.Â
She went back to her room once the shirt had been delivered, picking up anything she needed to and making sure there was as little mess as possible. Her room wasn't really messy, but the air mattress took up enough space to make it look cluttered.
Hearing footsteps, Naminé looks up to see  Roxas enter her room. Offering him a smile, she gestures to the air mattress. "I hope this is alright. If you'd prefer, you can take my bed and I can take the air mattress. I just figured it would be more comfortable than the couch."

Roxas nodded. He felt like a ton had been lifted off his shoulders. Maybe he’d have the courage to tell her about what happened later, but for now he at least wanted to be comfortable. He was a little worried. The last thing he wanted was for Naminé to see him any differently when she finds out about what he did. Losing a friend like her would only break him.
"No, I’ll be fine. Thank you, Naminé. As always, you’re a life saver."
He laughed softly, kicking his shoes off and leaving them by the door. Hopefully those will dry by tomorrow. He sighed and left to go use her dryer. He stepped into the room, closing the door behind him and started stripping his clothes. He kept the towel, wrapping it around his waste in case she walked in here before his clothes were dry.
"I didn't do that much."
Naminé smiles and shakes her head before she drags the mattress into her bedroom. It doesn't take long to set up the pump and get air into what would be Roxas's bed. While it was filling up she took the chance to find some blankets and pillows. Once the air mattress was fully blown up she began placing the blankets and pillows on top of the mattress.
She then moves over to her dresser and manages to find a larger night shirt that would more than likely fit Roxas. It was probably one of the few things that Naminé owned that wasn't form fitting.
"I'm leaving a shirt outside the door in case you want it." She announces as she sets the folded material by the door.Â

Roxas let out a sigh of relief to here those words. He could finally stop running. He couldn’t remember the last time he needed someone’s help so desperately. He thanked the Gods for this. Even though they probably weren’t happy with him at all.
He kept the towel around his shoulders, looking down at his pants. “That’s fine. I might just have to use your dryer, if that’s okay.” He could feel that his boxers were wet too, making him slightly uncomfortable. He shifted around a bit in his spot.Â
His heart used to be racing at what felt like 100mph, but at least now whe could rest. Now, he could finally breathe.Â
"That's fine. Use whatever you need."Â
Because, honestly, Naminé didn't mind. If Roxas was in some kind of trouble then she would be glad to do whatever she could to help him. She desperately wanted to know what had happened, but she could wait. If he wasn't comfortable telling her what had happened, then she wouldn't press the subject.
"The washer and dryer are in the room next to mine." As she spoke she moved over to a closet, pulling out what appeared to be a deflated air mattress. She hadn't used the thing in months, but it was still in good condition. There had been little need to use it until now.
"Do you need anything else?"

How do you tell someone you’re a murderer?
Roxas gladly took the towel, drying himself off as much as he could. He was still stuck in his damp pants, but he could figure out a way to deal with that later.  Taking in a deep breath, sea blue hues were closed and then slowly opened again. “Look…” He started, “I can’t give you the details now, but I need a place to stay just for a couple of days. I wouldn’t be asking you for this if it wasn’t important, so please.”
He knew he wasn’t giving her a real answer to the question. But, he didn’t know how to explain any of it. The whole situation had just happened, even he was still trying to make sense of it. By now, he was sure the police were looking for him and he couldn’t keep running if she turned him away. He was exhausted.
In his head, he was praying that Naminé would help him.
Something was obviously wrong if Roxas couldn't tell her specifically what was going on. Naminé couldn't remember a time where he had problems telling her his problems, but now appeared to be an exception.
Just what had happened to cause this...? No matter what it was, Roxas was still one of her closest friends. She couldn't just turn him down. He had his reasons for not telling her, and perhaps it really was for the best that she not know.
"Alright."
Nodding, the blonde gestures for him to follow. "I don't have a change of clothes for you, unfortunately. I might have a larger shirt that you can use, but as for pants.."

”Right, thanks.” Seeing her face made him feel awful. NaminĂ© had always been someone so trustworthy and nice to Roxas. He didn’t know how he was going to explain anything to her if she started to ask questions. Hopefully, nothing had shown on up on the news but by morning he was sure it would be there.Â
The blond quickly stepped inside and tried not to move so much, not wanting to get too much water on her floor. After all, he was completely soaked. He looked to the girl and sighed, “I need to ask you for a favor. A big one. It’s life or death, really. I don’t really have anyone else to go to for this.” His voice was quiet as if someone was listening in on them. Surely, there wasn’t. Roxas was paranoid. Anything could happen and he could be hauled off to jail at any second.
He was sure to clean up any evidence, but it was still a small city and investigators would be sure to findhim eventually. He was going to have to come up with something. With that? He wasn’t entirely sure yet.Â
"Life or death?"
Surely he was just being dramatic. Naminé couldn't imagine someone like Roxas being in any real trouble that could be life threatening. Had he vandalized something? Perhaps he had gotten into a scuffle with someone who wanted to fight Roxas further.
Either way, none of this made sense/
"Hold on."
The blonde girl disappears for a moment, only to return with a towel. Draping it over his shoulders, Naminé steps back and places her hands on her hips as she looks her friend over.
"Now, what's going on? It can't be that bad."

"That’s not true."
The words are quick to leave her mouth, but the lie is so obvious. The witch has never been the type to call attention to herself. Asking for help was the last thing she’d ever do. She’d prefer to fade into the background before burdening anyone with her troubles.
"I’m perfectly fine.”
