When you have the same eyes as me
second time I helped some homeless guy on the street out. First time was a week ago. Guy was asking for help, first time I saw a homeless guy cry in the street. So I gave him 10 dollars out my pocket... he ran to the supermarket... second... tonight, dude had the same eyes I once did, again asking for help, but for food... so I got it for him. Once in a while you just need to help out your fellow man.

Before I log off for the night I would just like to point this out to the women of the world, fairly obvious really! For those that argue that I am skinny but I eat, no issue with that, for those that argue the curvy image is to make those who feel they are overweight feel better about themselves no issue with that. What we have is the fashions industries ideal of what a woman should look like when the other is what the majority do look like. For me I don't particularly want a woman that starves herself to death to fit some stereotype that is force fed to them by someone who is no more than a dressmaker. That is my view and my opinion.
Relationship... some hard headed ppl need to watch this.

But it does state the truth, if it's only at 80%.
The shooting of Trayvon Martin, everyone would say that isn't right. A young teen unarmed, called 911, was hunted down and shot down, in his own gated community where he was supposed to be safe.
There's something wrong with this.
This is just another case of social injustice. And I'm not just talking about a hate crime, or just posting this because it was a black teen that was murdered. Social injustice is everywhere. Just a case this extreme makes you see it more than ever.
There is a guy on channel 11 wpix news that had a commentary on this (i'm so sorry I just forgot your name..I'll edit the post once I remember)
He said his piece on it, and even though he has blonde hair and blue eyes, he said, and please don't quote me on this.
Before he mentioned anything about it, he dug into the facts and then came on the air with a cool and calm head and while he was looking for facts about the case and why Trayvon Martin was shot, the more he found out and realized that George Zimmerman was more of a culprit.
He ended by saying if the rolls were switched, and it was a black man that did the shooting, they would had been locked up, unable to walk free, and people would be looking for the death penalty. So why isn't the same going on for this case?
This is about a black teen being shot down
This isn't about a black teen about being shot down at the same time.
When I walk through New York City, there are some areas that are really chill and the people are easy going. However, if you look at the entire population of NYC, that's only about 10- 15%. The rest of the people fall into the belief of stereotypes, and their own personal fears. And this isn't just from one race. I'm talking about how it comes from all directions. Asians, Blacks, Europeans, American Indians, Beigan, Thai, Italian, etc... You name it, it's coming from that direction.
Maybe it years of programed generations, maybe it's a culture clash. Or maybe it's pure ignorance.
People are starting to rally about Trayvon Martin by wearing hoodies, and making a statement doing so. And the point is clear, social injustice... we should all be beyond that.
While that is going on, people are rallying about "Occupy Wall Street", but when I asked several protesters what they are protesting, no two people gave the same answer.
It's time to stand up for what is right.
At some point, especially if you live in NYC, you have been a victim of social injustice. Now while everyone complains about it, the question is what are you going to do about it.
It's time for a solution.
It's time for POSITIVE change.
