“I didn’t tell you that so you could torture me with it." — "Aww, what are friends for?”
“Get in bitch, we’re going shopping.”
“And here I thought today was going to be boring.” Chloe smirked, hopping in the passenger seat, “Dru, you are a lifesaver.”
“Shhh you can’t tell anyone, ok?”
“I don’t mean to be a hoe, but you’re ruining my sober vibe. I’ve been sober for like, five days, don’t ruin it for me.”
“I happen to play guitar myself, and I’m not even an absolute hoe. Do you want to do it, like, now? Because my guitars are at home.”
“Oh my god, I fucking love you.” Chloe grinned, “Well, I need it done as soon as possible, maybe tomorrow afternoon?”
“Yay,” he grinned. “Though if you ever need a pianist, I’m here.”
“Oooh, sounds good to me. I might actually need a pianist for my next piece.”
“My buddy Aiden has got you in that department. Luckily enough for you, he’s the nicest guy ever. I’m sure if you ask, there is no way he’ll say no.”
“Really? Oh thank fuck. I genuinely thought I was going to have beg the professor for extra time, he hates me enough as it is.”
“Errr- not someone that I can think of on the top of my head.” Cory laughed. “Oh, shit, sounds like you’re in a pickle. Are you not in the music club? You are, aren’t you? Can’t you just track someone down from there?”
“Damn,” Chloe pulled a face, “Back to trying to find someone. I am, but I’ve missed a few meetings and they aren’t too keen on me.” She grimaced.
“I play guitar.” Alivia smiled, listening to Chloe go on. “I’ll do it for you. Just let me know when.”
“You do? Brilliant! Are you free to record like, tomorrow night? I can email you the cords.”
“I play a bit but I’m not that good,” said Arlette with an apologetic smile. “I could be your temporary guitarist if you want. What are you working on?”
“I bet you’re being modest.” Chloe shook her head, “That works. It’s an original piece, actually. I have all the lyrics and chords and shit back at my apartment.”
“I mean, I can play the guitar but I’m self taught.”
“Well, how good are you?”
