Thank you for all the birthday wishes this year, too!

As soon as the 14th [December] had arrived, we received a lot of replies addressed to the official twitter account. Thus I noticed “Oh, it’s his birthday!,” and tried my best to draw this. It was the day of the meteor shower, so I thought it should be an illustration based on meteor showers… but… I’m not sure if I pulled it off… Btw, Sebastian isn’t trying to bite off Ciel’s head! It’s just a way of presentation!!

I think it’s not really a festive day for Ciel but I believe he was born to live like a shooting star, i.e. moving in a straight line and then burning out. He’s such a happy child – so many people watch over him and celebrate his birthday with him. Thank you.

All these serious things being said, in this month’s GFantasy issue, which will be released on the 18th, he acts like a real brat and commits all sorts of atrocities that are not suitable for a protagonist at all, so he’s not really worthy of so many generous words…( ꒪⌓꒪) I apologize in advance, I’m so sorry!!!!

Thank you for all the birthday messages this year, too! Also, thank you for all the presents and letters! I’ll make sure that Ciel cherishes all your feelings and presents. I’m glad that people pray for his happiness. He himself is glad, too, but he probably has a bad conscience as well, and that’s why he looks a bit awkward… (lol) His birthday has been on the day of the meteor shower for two years in a row. [Please enjoy the feeling of] looking at the meteor shower together with him!

2014

Today is Ciel’s birthday. It was the day of the Geminids this year, too, so it’s an illustration based on meteor showers… (actually, it’s been the day of the Geminids every year so far, lol)

I have neither plans to marry someone nor to give birth to children but I’m deeply moved that I received so many precious words by fans as Ciel’s parent [creator]. Thank you so much for all the wishes this year, too.
