I know I already more or less posted this but @creamodreamo​ this is the version I envisioned. I wanted to make a comparison between falling for potential villians, or at least sometimes scary girls.

First of all, I love your art. Whenever you post you make my week :'D

And second, I have a question abt your lance and Pinocchio post. It says in a wiki that based on the novel Pinocchio's best pal is the good king (or something like that) and that he got visited by him and raven, but in the comics/graphic novel it seems like he and Lance were besties. Does the text in your post refer to that to clarify? Like after Pinocchio's tale, Lance is no longer part of his life? Cuz the wiki has got me confused and I wanted to know what you thought :)

That's pretty much how I see it, that Lance (which is probably not supposed to be his name, since they avoid his first name in the comic, even though they use Lance-Charming-the-reporter's looks for grown-up King Charming. So convoluted. He's gonna be Lance in my head) decides to "improve" himself over the schoolyears and painstakingly becomes a turbo douchebag, and gradually moves away from common folk like Pinocchio and Goldie cause that's what his parental generation expects.

I don't remember exactly how it went in the book, but I say Pinocchio and Good King became friends after school. (Also works with the angle of Good King being older/Snow's father.)
