watched belle 2021 again on a 6 hour plane ride at 3am and i think it irrevocably shifted something in my brain because my god let me just say that seeing the entirety of the 'a million miles away' sequence in a dimly lit plane cabin, thousands of feet in the air, with very minimal sleep felt like a religious reawakening; i felt like i was about to start crying and ascending.
