We're working on an exciting installation and branding project for Glad Rags Thrift, a brilliant new social enterprise shop in Glasgow's South Side.

As a part of the Glad family, the shop is all about community, and we thought it'd be great if we could give an opportunity to have a little input into this project!

With that in mind, we're looking for your favourite song lyrics, and fashion quotes!

Either send them in by email here, or tweet them or instagram them using hashtag #gladtags and we'll pick the best ones to include in our graphic installation! It's important you submit this way to ensure they are seen!

We're delighted to present the latest trailer for 'Carnevil' haunted house at the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago.

The ad will be used across the event social media, in a youtube campaign and on network television across Chicago to promote interest for the attraction and engage consumers in the #FearTheClown hashtag campaign.

We just finished up some outdoor ads for Poppy Scotland, to compliment a crackin' little animated ad (produced by STV Creative and animated by Russell Kyle) for their volunteers campaign. The campaign has been set up to raise regional awareness that when held by a volunteer, one of their collection tins can raise 50 times more.

Horror actors Wanted!

Didn't get a chance to be part of Glasgow's horror nightmare for WWZ?

We're gearing up for a one night horror-filled ad shoot in the next couple of weeks, and are looking for our two stars.

We need an 18-30 y/o attractive female, 5'2" to 5'8" for our 'stalker victim'.

We also need a 6'0"+ broad shouldered male to be our 'psycho clown'.

Both should have no allergy to latex makeup, and the male ideally would be comfortable to wear lenses, and possibly capable of an American accent.

Images & stats should be sent to [email protected] by Saturday the 3rd of August. Our shooting date is TBC, and will take place in Glasgow city centre.

Please note these positions are unpaid and are TFP status, Snacks/drinks will be provided on the night, and a full suite of digital images and video from the shoot will be available to both parties after the launch.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that we are now an official sponsor of The Glad Cafe!

The agreement will mean Create Forty Eight will take on full production responsibility for 'The Glad Rag' (www.thegladrag.co.uk) as well as assist the Cafe in other selected ventures moving forward.

"We're excited to have Create Forty Eight on board, and their input so far has been very valuable so we're pleased to be able to have them involved in an official capacity!", said Rachel Smillie, director at The Glad Cafe.

The sponsorship, supported by Arts & Business Scotland, means the Cafe will also see a £12,000 cash injection to help pay for an assistant venue manager.

The New Arts Sponsorship Grants scheme incentivises businesses to sponsor the arts in Scotland. It is funded by the Scottish Government and administered by Arts & Business Scotland. An arts organisation receiving an eligible business sponsorship can apply for £1 of funding for every £1 of sponsorship. The funding goes towards additional arts activity, for which the sponsor receives additional business benefits.

We were approached by Rapture Theatre to produce show branding for their latest production of 'The Collection', a shocking and dark play centred around the seedy underworld of pay-day loan collectors.

We were tasked not only with representing the 'gangster' style lives of the collectors, and the financially-driven obligations, but to come up with an engaging strap line for the show.

We played on the 'reassuring' line often used by pay-day loan companies of 'No Credit? No Problem.', adding the menacing truth, 'No Escape.'.

The title treatment also features detail inspired by sterling currency, with the repeated line 'I promise to pay the collector' watermarking the words.

The Collection premieres at the Beacon Arts Centre, Greenock on Friday 6th September, and shows at the Tron Theatre Glasgow from Tues 10th to Saturday 14th of September as part of its nationwide tour.

Ok, so have been a bit delayed in getting content pulled together for the new website, but thought it might be nice to post a few pics from the work we did in Chicago this March for the NCAA's Big Ten (B1G) Basketball Tournaments.

We're delighted to share the first looks at the brand identity we're developing for 'Naromode' (formerly Dead Sleekit), a textile focused fashion label, whose work has an emphasis on narrative story telling.

Each collection released by Naromode (loosely from the latin 'narrative' and 'fashion') will tell a different story across their garments.

We worked with them to develop not just the identity but a new name which truly embodied the brilliant creative process they've developed, starting with their SS14 collection.

"We'd been on the fence for a while with 'Dead Sleekit' as a name." said Iain of Naromode. "When we started working with Jamie, he realised quickly that it didn't fit with our core identity as a fashion label. He helped us come up with something more suitable and in line with our style and the basic principles for each collection."

When working out what would set Naromode apart from the competition, we found it incredibly appealing that in each season's collection, you could own an entire 'story' by owning each garment in that collection.

Their beautiful illustrative work is printed across one large strip of fabric, which in turn is used across their full collection.

We really liked the idea of story telling through fashion and textiles, and developed a clean geometric mark, hinting at both the fine thread in the fabric they use through the 'N' and at the pages of a book in the 'M'.

Keep an eye out for more from this dynamic duo, and the work we'll be doing with them over the coming months!
