I just started The Son of Neptune and I’m enjoying it. I feel like it’s starting out a little bit slower than The Lost Hero and most of Rick Riordan’s books I’ve read. I don’t hate it though.

I’m glad we get to read about Percy again. I’m kind of enjoying his amnesiac state but I also miss the old him. It’s kind of weird. It makes me sad when he recognizes/remembers little things but he can’t quite grasp his memories.

I like Hazel and Frank. They’re both definitely more than a little pessimistic but they don’t have very many things to be happy about. I think once they come out of their shells I’m going to really like them. Their crushes on each other are cute.

I’m glad we get to see Nico again. He’s one of my favorites and I think he could be a big help.

I don’t really like the Roman camp or the way they do things or most of the people that much. It just seems a lot less friendly and fun compared to Camp Half-Blood.

I’m interested to see what kind of adventure Percy, Hazel and Frank go on because I have no idea what’s going to happen right now.

I’m so ready to be able to have at least an hour of free time before I have to go to bed. I need time to relax and unwind after a long day and I have not gotten that at all this week and this week is going to continue to be filled with long days and the week’s not even halfway over and I just want to lay in bed and do nothing for a day.

I’m halfway through Restore Me and I don’t think I’m ready for what the rest of this book is going to bring. I don’t know how to feel about everything Castle told Warner. I don’t want to believe everything he said is true but I don’t know why he would lie. I have no idea how Juliette is going to handle it and if she’s going to go crazy or not. I feel like she is but I really hope not.

Haider worries me. At first I thought he was going to be okay and not cause that much trouble but then he went off on Warner and I don’t know what else he’s going to do. I like Nazeera right now but I don’t know what her motives are right now which slightly worries me.

Somehow I love Kenji even more now. He’s so freaking cute when he’s all nervous around Nazeera.

I want to know why it was so easy for someone to freaking shoot Juliette with a poison bullet. They had to really know what they were doing and have some inside information to know where she would be and how to get around her guards which makes me really nervous.

I’m just not ready for whatever the heck is coming.

I just watched season 2 episodes 15 and 16 of Dynasty and oh my gosh. Adam is a freaking psychopath. Like just what the hell?! I’m excited for whatever the heck is going to happen with Liam because I love him. I’m really starting to love Kirby. I won’t be terribly mad if her and Culhane have a thing. I don’t know how I feel about Cristal anymore at all. My thoughts:

I’m glad Fallon’s being so nice and helpful.

I’m proud of Jeff. His almost dying really changed him.

Adam has terrible timing.

When Adam’s DNA results come back positive, I really hope Alexis gets exposed at least a little bit.

Honestly Cristal is handling this mess like a boss and I’m not surprised.

I don’t know why I keep being surprised at how savage Cristal can be. She could be so good for the team.

I actually thought Adam or whoever he is was telling the truth for a little while.

I’m glad Jeff’s being so stubborn about his education and arts center.

Sam definitely is not a great liar.

Why does it always have to be the person trying to do the right thing that gets the short end of the stick? I feel so bad for Jeff.

Adam may not be lying but he’s still way too creepy and manipulative for me to like him.

Ok what the heck? Who kisses their sister on the lips? Especially when he just met her.

Why do they always have to win in the shadiest way possible?

I really hope Adam keeps his dirt on Alexis. He’s a freaking psychopath though.

Fallon did kind of screw up.

I’m glad Culhane didn’t get involved in Cristal’s family crap.

Ok Kirby and Culhane wouldn’t be terrible.

Sam is adorable. He’s such a good person.

I love Fallon. Especially when she goes and buys a whole business.

I love Fallon’s new business even more now. I really hope she publishes his book.

I just watched Lethal Weapon season 2 episodes 7 and 8 and I loved them. I ship Riggs and Molly so much. Riggs has me worried there for a while though. My thoughts:

Why does Riggs have to be so difficult with Cahill?

Roger overthinks everything.

Avery’s a dork.

Riggs is a mess.

Bowman is full of surprises.

How does Roger manage to make himself look like such an idiot?

What a great dad.

Riggs needs to get it together before he gets himself hurt.

Bailey and Bowman have a cute thing.

I’m glad Riggs is helping Molly out. She’s good for him.

Why are we just now finding out about Scorsese’s script? It’s probably great or terrible haven’t decided which.

Cahill is always right.

I love Avery.

Murtaugh’s just as lame as Scorsese writes him. That won’t change no matter how much he wants it to.

Riggs totally has a thing for Molly.

Adrianna’s good.

I like Molly.

Riana’s really pretty. And her boyfriend is hot.

Royal New Year's Eve - Trailer

I just watched Royal New Year’s Eve and I really enjoyed it. I love Jessy Schram and Sam Page and they were so cute together. Their chemistry was so effortless. I love that they were just like nice to each other and just got to know each other without their being any expectations. It made their feelings seem more natural. I feel like the Isabelle situation was handled really well. He did the right thing and broke up with her in a very civil way. I loved Doris and Barnaby. Doris is one of my favorite Hallmark best friends. I can’t really explain why though. My only two problems with this movie were the accents and the ending. The accents were bad as they usually are with Hallmark. They were mostly consistent but I hate that you can’t tell what they’re trying to sound like. The ending was just kind of anticlimactic for me. I was hoping for a little something more. Overall though I loved it and would watch it again. My thoughts during the movie:

I like Leighton.

These accents are bothering me already.

Barnaby’s kind of funny.

Abigail is devious.

I’m glad Leighton’s not as devious as her mother.

Abigail’s definitely not going to keep her promise and that’s kind of terrible.

I think King Richard was very cordial with Caitlyn.

I think Jeffrey was very fair with Isabelle.

I love Doris.

I just started Restore Me and I love it. I didn’t realize how much I loved this world, these characters and Tahereh Mafi’s writing style.

You can really see how far Juliette has come in this book. I mean she’s the freaking Supreme Commander. She’s definitely struggling a little but that’s okay. She really cares about her people and people in general still and it warms my heart. I do really wish she would listen to Castle because he’s just trying to help her. I also wish she would ask for help.

I love Kenji Kishimoto so much and I missed him so much. He’s still as sassy but sweet as ever. I’m really glad he told Juliette about his parents even though it made me sad. Their friendship makes me so freaking happy. They are comfortable telling each other anything and they always have each other’s backs. Friendship goals as heck.

I like that we’re getting so much of Warner’s perspective. I can’t remember if we got this much in any of the first three books but I don’t think so. I struggled with him as a character for the entirety of the first three books but starting this book with a fresh look at him I actually just like him kind of a lot. I still don’t love how cold and distant he can be but he’s had a messed up life and he at least cares about Juliette and I think she’s helping him get better at that. I feel like they have a lot of sex scenes and they’re very long and I don’t enjoy it.

I’m really glad Warner talked to Adam. I think it could be really good for both of them if they got closer. It’s nice to see Adam has figured some things out too but he’s definitely still struggling.

I’m really worried about what’s going to go down with the other continents and their supreme leaders. So many things could go so wrong and there’s just so much unknown that I don’t like but I’m excited for the rest of the book.

I just watched season 2 episodes 5 and 6 of Lethal Weapon. They were good. Riggs is worrying me. I think it could be cute if him and Molly had a thing. My thoughts:

I’m not happy Riggs is drinking again but it could be worse.

How the heck does he lose his trailer?

There is something Riggs isn’t saying about his father and I don’t think it’s good.

Riggs is not okay.

Leo’s smart.

Oh Riggs why did you do that?

Leo’s ridiculous.

Why does it have to be so cute when Cahill’s so nice to Riggs?

Trish is such a wonderful woman.

I hope Riggs stays there or better yet gets a real home.

Riggs better not let his friend get him in trouble.

I hope Riggs doesn’t do anything stupid.

Scorsese’s a dork.

Poor Bailey. Bowman’s already awkward as it is.

I just watched Dynasty season 2 episodes 13 and 14 and I enjoyed them much more than the past few episodes. The story was much more exciting and fun and I got much more into these episodes. I’m ready for Alexis to just die already. I’m tired of her manipulating everything and getting away with it. It’s not fun to watch anymore. I feel like there’s about to be a thing between Culhane and Kirby and I don’t think I’ll like it. Fallon was being a complete pathetic child with him which was really annoying. If Steven doesn’t figure some things out and come home real soon I’m going to be very sad/mad. My thoughts:

I’m glad Blake and Cristal have figured things out for right now.

Fallon actually needs to listen to Blake on this one for once.

My God. Fallon’s being a child.

Alexis is like a cockroach. She doesn’t freaking die or go away.

I completely understand why the world loves Anders.

I don’t know how I feel about Cristal anymore.

I really thought Blake was beginning to not be such a psychopath. I thought wrong.

Fallon screwed herself over.

Dang. Cristal needed to hear that.

This better stay as a one night mistake.

Anders and Sammy Jo are so cute.

Steven better be okay.

Oh my freaking gosh! Alexis has gone off the deep end. She better not find a way to get out of this.

I feel so bad for Cristal and Blake. The baby could have been a really good thing.

I’m glad Steven’s okay but he looks terrible.

As much as Steven is acting like he’s fine I still don’t think he is.

If she actually pins this on Mack I’m going to be livid.

Kirby’s so nice. I like her a lot.

George seems manipulative to me.

Now Steven really has me worried. If he’s hallucinating things are bad.

I really hope Steven and Sam can just take a break and eventually come back together.

I’m glad Steven is getting help.

Alexis makes me sick.

Culhane and Kirby already feels a little weird.

Okay maybe George is real.

I just watched Eli and I liked it. I’m not a super big horror movie fan especially when they’re like sci-fi ish kind of horror movies with demons and ghosts and stuff. Honestly I had no idea what was really going on for the entire movie. I had one theory that the doctor was some crazy killer person but I wasn’t even very confident about that. It went by super quick because the story moved along pretty quickly. The scariest parts were really when the ghosts “visited” him or whatever’s and those parts weren’t even that scary. I really liked Haley. I wasn’t suspicious of her at all until the scene where he tried to break the glass. I was suspicious of his step dad the whole time but I was kind of wrong. The plot twist/reveal at the end was completely unexpected but it was kind of disappointing for me. The way they did it was cool I guess but I was just hoping for a cooler, bigger reveal and reason for everything. Overall it was pretty good though.
