Stop waiting untill the new year to finally improve your life. (It's genuinely pissing me off)
In the time you waited for the new year to come, you could've achieved so much if you weren't stuck in the mental cycle of postponing something until the next year. (Procrastination feels good temporarily but in the long run it's horrible for you) The people who all join the gym on January first? They wasted their time.
Instead of getting up first thing, they all waited to start when they could've been months ahead of themselves. And you mean to tell me you just HAD to wait untill January first to dump that toxic friend? Or cut out your drinking habit? That just shows me you aren't taking yourself serious enough. At all. There is no grace in telling yourself you'll wait till next year to hit the gym. You're doing no one except the negative voice in your head justice by denying yourself the adequate time needed to improve as a person.
The time will always be now. There is no time limit for when you're allowed to start leveling up. You're screwing yourself over by thinking you do. 'new year new me' is a complete hoax, if you really want to change you're not gonna wait till the clock turns to midnight but take initiative and actually be intentional with your actions and not follow the masses.
