What's the most disrespectful thing that someone has told you about your craft?

I'll start first:

If you're not sewing clothes to wear on a day-to-day basis, then your hobby is worthless. No matter the joy (and sometimes monetary compensation) sewing other things brings you, you are wasting your breath.

It's interesting that in the same vein, those same people are able to watch every news report for 3 hours in a row, then head on to YouTube, but that, I suppose, is different.
