Overlaying your sprite and rainbow-stitches’ talksprite reveals the hat is a perfect match, with some minor edits to the shading. It is quite definitely their hat edit.

Just because one person did have the nepeta talksprite with a hat doesn’t mean nobody else made it. I appreciate all the other times you’ve given credit but multiple people could have made a nep+hat talksprite And crediting to one person alone isn’t very fair
Anon, honestly, I don’t even know where to start with this.
So, here’s a nice picture.
These obviously both say 413, correct? Imagine for a second for me that you’re seeing two talksprites of Nepeta with a hat. They both show Nepeta’s canon sprite, but with a hat edited on, yes?
Now, overlaying them makes it obvious that they show the same thing, but they’re not identical.
In our metaphor, this means the talksprites both show Nepeta with a hat. If they were made by two seperate people, surely overlaying them would also show that they are not identical, yes?
But when I reblog posts and add credit for rainbow-stitches' Nepeta talksprite edit, it’s because the hat is identical to the one they edited on. If it wasn’t, I wouldn’t add that credit.
LALT is back at it again folks!
I got a notif today that someone under the url op-is-/a-te/rfas/cist (without the slashes) reblogged my fuschia Lanque post. However I couldn’t see what they said since their blog is flagged as sensitive sooooo I made an alt account that let me turn safe mode off. I found out that it’s definitely LALT and that they deleted their reblog, stole the sprite, and made a post of their own with it instead
Also I wasn’t the only one who’s sprites were stolen either unfortunately

i didnt want to make this but they left me! no choice! the screenshots above are sort of old, but im only just getting back from a break; forgive me for yet again, having no idea what was going on.
tldr: @homestuckmania-sprites is run by gross ass people and have remade my sprite parts out of pettiness**, for starters.
**for lack of better words to summarize with. im bad with words, bear with me through this post. i can only hope it’s coherent enough.
let’s start by saying this: yes i’ve made bi kanaya and pan dirk in the past; i’m not gonna go into detail but they WERE requests and i thought i was in the right, had i not been a fucking fool i wouldve sent them privately. about the icons– i’m aware, it was a stupid thing to do out of pettiness, i have a personality disorder and have tendencies to do things on impulse. i have removed all of these sprites and will not make that mistake again.
now that that’s out of the way, here’s what happened, i think. its kinda a lengthy story.
