well i think this show ran itself into the ground. in just two seasons, it kept jumping the shark again and again until it couldn't get any crazier so it had to end

kind of a boring ending. very generic. well maybe i'm just holding it up to season 1's ending because season 1's ending was... unique and memorable for sure. i guess this is a good resolution to the bittersweetness of season 1 bc season 1 ended with "there's still a long way to go and many sacrifices that have to be made before we can save the world" and then season 2 was like "we finally did it. we saved the world"
no epilogue. no time for that.

not watching wars right now. i need a break. this show was SUCH a fun ride but it became kind of gruelling and repetitive after a while so i'm glad it's done bc i truly don't think there was anything else they could do. they did everything
the fight in this episode is SUPER fast and dynamic. but still understandable. so kudos to whoever directed and animated it

i like how the first description we got of luluka was "she's laid-back and doesn't conform to stereotypes" because it makes it sound like she's easygoing. but then she appears in the show and it becomes clear that that description was just a polite way of saying "she doesn't give a fuck"
I gotta finish LBX or else my brain will keep making up finales that are too crazy even for LBX, which shouldn't be possible.
Content warning that this is another batshit crazy dream that goes way too far in every direction.
It started at I think the third episode from the end, give or take. The characters were in a completely normal room that was just like a store or a cheap office or something. They were pretending to be allies to the Kaido corporation so they could get confidential information (way too late in the show for that!!). The way they had to get this information was just to wait for Mr. Kaido to leave the building and then one of the staff, who was also a double agent just like everyone else, would explain the plan to them. So Kaido left and the staff started explaining the plan. It involved a sheet of paper where all the letters had a bunch of tiny numbers inside them that could only be seen with a computer, and then you had the computer scan the document and the numbers would become code, and the code would become a video that contained more secret information. BUT the video was psychologically challenging to watch because superimposed over it was a video where two sibling side characters (I think from the Seekers) grew up from embryos onto a bed together and committed increasingly intimate incestuous acts. So nobody wanted to watch it.
Also, there was a Mizel clone (biological, not robotic) being grown in a vat in the middle of the room where everyone was watching this video. No one paid it too much attention. They knew what to do with it when the time came. I don't know what they were planning to do.
At this point, Band Snatch from Princession Orchestra showed up and they all had new clothes (just as emo as before, but different). We had become like besties or something, so I could talk to them with ease. They had the vibes of someone coming back from vacation to a city in a crisis. Like they thought "we're back, so nothing stands a chance against us" and I frantically told them things had gotten very bad. (Bad in what way? I don't remember.) The guitar guy had a gun and I told him to keep it, he'd need it.
There was an old lady who looked like an old man, and she had been carrying around a gun for the entire show but had never used it. But then she found herself walking out of a building and into the woods, where she was immediately surrounded by two live-action grizzly bears. Like everything else was animated but these were real bears from real life. But they looked cute and not too angry. So she just fired off some warning shots that sent them running away from her. Later on, she went into this big wooden house where she amassed an army of old butch ladies who were the enemies of the main characters even though they were all on the same side. It was just a game, though, and she still supported them in reality. Also the old butch lady loved to yell a catch phrase that was like "Some people think they know women, but I know them better! And also I am one!" and people told her she wasn't that witty and they didn't know what she was trying to say.
Anyway I think the Mizel clone was almost ready and people were gonna... I don't know. I don't know why they didn't kill it on sight. I think someone might've had feelings for it.
So I watched all this with my jaw dropped and a need to talk to people about it. I woke up before I got to see the last two episodes, but apparently watching the second-last episode would cause you to have a scary dream that would reveal secret information, and I think in the last episode 10,000 people died.
"it would be so good if it was good" will haunt you but "it's extremely good, except for the one or two parts which are so bad it's genuinely kind of insulting" will straight up drive you insane
one has you making posts like "okay but if the author UNDERSTOOD the POLITICAL IMPLICATIONS of the story they were telling, and leaned into it, it would actually be a really interesting exploration of..."
the other has you pacing your bedroom at one in the morning going "why. why would you ever in a million years do it like that. genuinely what possible thought process was involved. was the writer possessed by a fucking ghost or something."
