some of these are reposts of stuff from my other blog but i’m low-key insecure about fandoms and there are ppl i know irl who follow me so i’m moving my stuff here instead. don’t expect me to “explain the plot” or any of that. i sometimes watch/read decent things but the main focus of this blog is the “so-bad-it’s-good” category (also, i’m more likely to do liveblogs for “fun” or “stupid” media, and actual reviews for media i consider to be worth discussing intellectually). i mostly only watch animated shows bc i am a massive loser whose brain doesn't work properly

i like that precure fans are honest about it being a baby show instead of pretending that it's secretly for adults just because they like it. but i feel like a lot of them take it too far and act like it can never do anything complex or interesting just because it's a kids' show. which is obviously not true
hypest precure season ever. but i feel like the only one who's having fun with it bc everyone else is either a hater or too busy to get invested in baby shows
i didn't get why there were so many rei truthers out there since we've already gotten lots of cures similar to rei so i'd rather they do something new. but i forgot that a lot of people watch precure precisely because they enjoy repetition and predictability. sorry guys. you've come to the wrong season for that

i don't know how blonde hair is considered pretty by the masses bc for me i had to do a years-long process where first i started liking white hair because it looks cool and then eventually i came around to liking blonde hair too because it's close enough to white. but it was an acquired taste that took me like a decade to start liking. and i know most people don't put that amount of time or effort into developing beauty standards so i don't know how they just naturally like blonde hair
