I've been reusing a lot of materials from my old crafts lately. It's a nice way to "declutter" in a way, without having to fully part with them.

I recently made these two beetles: a stag beetle, and the other is more of a ground beetle. The materials are from a few decorative gourds that I previously made for autumn a few years ago. I also used other scrap material to make some new parts.

Anyone who's ever actually taken care of a baby long term knows that that is not going to cover shit. Not to mention who is going to take care of said, child? Women are still expected to leave their jobs to become stay at home mom's. Is it going to solve the Otaku (again, asking my fellow westerners to learn the correct definition of a Otaku, it is not the japanese word for geek) NEET, gambling, and pro bedrodding problem?

I don't know too much about it, but I know there is also a program to compensate people to leave tokyo and repopulate rural areas.

Yes, Tokyo is overpopulated, and there probably should be a population redistribution. As someone who is all too familiar with white flight and gentrification, i'm curious about what unique problems this will create in japan? Plus let's acknowledge the elephant in the room, if you're moving people to dying ghost villages, where the fuck are they going to work!? If they're trying to bring back the 70s working husband model, that idea is going to collapse immediately. For those who are unfamiliar, in previous generations, husbands were expected to take the train from rural areas into the city for work. They would get an apartment or stay in a hotel for the entire work week. While their wife and kids stayed in their country village by themselves. The husbands would return on the weekends to see his family then leave Immediately to return to the company. This had a devastating effect on entire families for generations. Children growing up without their fathers. Wives being forced to do 100% of all the domestic labor by themselves. Basically being married single mothers. Overworked lonely men, turning to affairs and alcohol to fill the loneliness in their hearts. Nothing good came out of this practice.
