Introductions I Guess

To whom it may or may not concern

I’m crescent-lunatic-wolf. I’d say you can call me ‘Luna’, but that’s about the most stereotypical name for someone like me to pick, so we’re gonna go with ‘Cress’ instead for some variety.

I’m, well, a lot of things, some of which I’m still trying to figure out, and I hope to work on that while I’m here.

Come in for the humor and chaotic self-discovery, stay for the monsters/dogs/monster dogs.

Or don’t, if that ain’t your thing. It’s all good.

I have always strongly connected with the idea of being a werewolf living with a wild wolf pack.

I think maybe its my brain's way of reconciling the fact that I will always be changed for having been raised a human, while still giving me the fantasy of disappearing into the wild to live a fully animal life. One where I am different, but still loved by the animals despite (or maybe even for) it. I just think it would be really nice. I would hope the wolves would accept and love me, even if I'm shaped a little differently, and don't understand them as well as one of their own by birth.

Werewolf who desperately wishes they'd been turned into a vampire. Starts looking for ways to transform post werewolfing. Is told it's impossible. Research continues. Find new things out about vampiric transformations not even vampires know.

Finally finds a way, a ritual, a time where they can be turned. Is shunned by both Werewolf and Vampire society, but finds community with other Chimeras, monsters that don't quite fit into the dominant groups. Assigned Monster at Bite

Werewolf who desperately doesn't want to change back. Werewolf who clings to his monstrous shape for as long as he possibly can, resisting as he feels himself turning back at dawn. Werewolf who weeps when his claws shrink back into fingers and he loses his fangs and fur. Werewolf who holes up in bed, miserable and meticulously watching the moon cycle each month until he can transform again.

I have a vivid memory of being about 14 and seeing a hardcore punk walking down the street in a busy shopping district with a tiny white kitten tucked in his leather jacket. That’s goals.

one of my favorite memories is my first punk show and how welcoming and friendly everyone was. I was 9 and my brother brought me and people were putting me on their shoulders and telling me about where they got their clothes or how much a little punk I was.

I love punk culture because from the outside it looks aggressive and harsh. But once you realize that’s just their armour and that they are kinder and more proactive about human rights than the “nice” looking people you get comfort from their presence.

Not all things that look aggressive are aggressive. Not all things that look safe are safe.
