Takoyaki Stall in Spring digital cross-stitch pattern 🌸
I designed this pattern because I found several red, blue and pink skeins from the 90s that used to belong to my mother and I wanted to check if they were still usable. The design is mostly red and blue color blocks exactly for that reason.
Surprisingly, despite being 31 years old, the threads held with minimum fraying.
I used Anchor floss. Some skeins were manufactured in Brazil and some in Peru, under the "Ancla" licensed brand (ancla = anchor in Spanish ⚓).
It did feel extremely thin, though, so I used three strands on 14-count aida.
The pattern is available on Kofi or Etsy 🌸
Working on my next pattern. I wanted to try a more vibrant palette this time 🌺🌷
Just realised I've forgotten to actually post my last two finished projects, autumn in the valley and winter in the valley by glitchstitchau on etsy just one season left to go, I've really enjoyed these patterns
I had to undo it once and rethink the palette because the colors weren't working. But I'm happy with the result!
Pattern on Etsy and Ko-fi
Can't stop using straight lines for designs. Listening to audiobooks while stitching lines is addictive and relaxing.

Finished warm-up patterns 🌸😺
The Aida I used was stiff and it became a little warped. Hopefully it will look better after washing.
The patterns are available here 🌸
Trying to convince Romeow to help me showcase a finished pattern
(Didn't work and he stole the ribbons 😅)

Tried to stitch my cats in Stardew Valley style using what I believe was a 11 count Aida (I could be wrong) that was lying around...
Next time I'll try to use three strands instead of two.
