Nail art inspired by Elendira the Crimsonnail from the Trigun manga, I'm very normal about her 🙃🥰❣️Nail artist nerd stuff and more feels under the cut!

I have A Lot more fabric textures and patterns that I can use for her, and I will, I have so many ideas it's not even funny!
I cannot say enough good things about Elendira as a character, I just lov her so much aaaahhh!!!!! Hugest manga crush I've ever had tbh 😂🥰 She inspires me to be my most fabulous self too~
Her style is wonderful, classic in many ways, but innovative too, and while I'm sure she'd definitely like glitter sometimes, for my first design I went for more of an everyday look.
I don't really do a lot of blank space manis, I like to do all over designs for daily wear for myself, but I wanted something else for Elendira. And I do like to take a small peek outside the box sometimes!
What I did here is inspired by French manis, with a twist, in the sense that the middle and ring fingernail are done in a typical French mani style, from the tip downwards, the other nails (thumb too, not pictured) are done in reverse (aka Ruffian manicure, from one of their fashion shows). I thought it would be a bit more interesting, more striking, especially over the light peach.
Speaking of the colors, what the hell is crimson anyway, I don't know if I have a color like that, I know, I know what the hell am I even doing with my life, I promise I am looking. I read that it's supposed to be more purple-leaning. I should probably mix one myself. Nail art is mad science.
In any case, my dark red polish that I used as a background for middle and ring is the same polish I stamped the houndstooth with on the peach nails. It's a one-coater, which is a great hint that a regular polish can stamp even if that's not what it was created for, but it does sheer out just the tiniest amount, so it looks like the stamping was done in blood 🙃
What else, oh yeah, I absolutely had to see how the design looks with a matte top coat too, I mean, it's meant to mimic the look of fabric. I actually love it matte even more.
Oh and the rose gold stamping polish, of course using a peach color would have been Too Easy, and that little bit of metallic energy in there, right in the middle of the design, is very necessary I think. Metallic polish looks so wonderful when mattified too!
Btw I probably have around 20 nail art stampers of different shapes and sizes, would that be called a stampede?? 😂
