Between two buttery slices of bread, this sandwich has a great mix of crunchy cabbage and creamy white sauce. This recipe is quick and easy, and it's great for a snack or light lunch.
Ingredients: 2 cups shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup mayonnaise. 1 tablespoon white vinegar. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 slices of bread. Butter for spreading.
Instructions: Shred the cabbage and put it in a bowl. Add the mayonnaise, white vinegar, salt, and pepper. Each piece of bread should have butter on one side. Spread the cabbage mixture out evenly on the side of 4 slices of bread that hasn't been buttered. Add the last few slices of bread on top, making sure the buttered side faces outwards. Place the pan on medium heat. Start cooking the sandwiches in the pan. Each side should take about two to three minutes to turn golden brown. Take it off the heat, cut it up if you want, and serve.
