Started my sports photography career after college with an internship with a MiLB team, and now, being married to a college baseball coach, I’ve continued what i started out with. Every game is a new opportunity to catch something you would miss if you blinked. Most recent shots from 2/17/24- CVCC vs Wake Tech for CV’s first Region 10 matchup of 2024.
In a promise to myself to be shooting more, my most recent re-introduction for myself to baseball. 10 years after I shot a summer of Milb, I’m trying to get myself back into the habit of sports photography.
Missing my buddy today. I know he’s having a great vacation though. A little over 3 weeks and I get to see him again.

I absolutely LOVED taking photos of this girl on Sunday! A combined Mother's Day/Birthday photo shoot and it was awesome. I've known her since well, before she was born, and haven't gotten to do a "true" photo shoot until this last weekend.
I think we got some awesome results, and I can't wait to do another one! (Definitely can't wait to shoot her senior pictures in another 5 or 6 years!)
College of Charleston
A few photos I've had, but not gone through.. they didn't seem to "pop" for me... until today. Its really interesting how you can take some photos and they just don't hold your attention, or they just don't look right to you, until much, much later. It's been about 2 months since I took these, and I think they look awesome now. Well, at least better than they did when I initially went through them. I'm glad I thought to give these a second look.
Basset Shadow Looking back through some images from January, I found this one. It's my wonderful 3.5 year old Basset Hound, Maverick up in Michigan after the snowmageddon and more snow after that storm.
Just a few of my favorite shots from today. It was so hard to choose! I had so much fun running around with the kiddos on the beach and catching up. I could not have asked for a better family to take pictures of today! Sullivan's Island, SC
The South Carolina home opener got delayed a day because of the winter storm earlier in the week. I'm glad - although it was still a little chilly for sitting in the shade, but it was the return of baseball (and the only home opener I'll get to go to this year) so I was more than happy to freeze. USC won over Bucknell 17-4, powered by two 6-run innings.
I'm glad baseball is back, and I can't wait for it to warm up so days at the ballpark aren't quite as cold.
Morning light + really beautiful flowers = awesome photo opportunity. I can't remember the last time I've been up early so many days in a row.
Today I definitely cashed in on the early morning sun with one specific window that was in just the right spot. I really need to remember to do this more often while sunrise isn't before 7 yet!
Doing some just pretty photos first thing in the morning helped to start the day off right (along with a breakfast that includes bacon!)

Yesterday at McDowell Nature Preserve between Charlotte and Clover on Lake Wylie. It was cold, but I had a goal of 100 shots, and surpassed that. I'm happy to be shooting more no matter what it is, I always love getting out, seeing new places, and getting better at something I love to do.
