Uuuhhh I mean, this is pretty much the traditional position as far as I understand it. But I am busting out these helpful guides made by isadora arkham They're pretty much one of the biggest names in the fandom spanking space And they've made a ton of great infographics.

I will feature these beneath the cut. None of these are explicit, but they do, you know, feature spanking positions/implements.

with that gif, my first idea was jax doing the brat equivalent of pushing a glass of water off a counter while looking directly in kinger's eyes. and then he just doesn't stop doing that, like his subconscious is going "okay, *one* of these is gonna get me what i want" and then he gets what he wants and his subconscious goes "oh, no. the consequences"

there's a dfic discord server that has all the spanktember things in it, if you're looking for them. requires an invite afaik to join, but they are there

That tracks! I may hunt the server down someday. I know there are a few of them. I'm just wary about joining them because I feel like as soon as I join an active community outside of my tiny corner, I'll get sucked in completely and never do anything else with my life. I may perhaps struggle a little with this particular kind of self-control.

consider, if you do the pomni/caine: jax being all jealous/envious about *caine* getting *all* pomni's attention, but he's not emotionally aware enough to realize it, ofc. he's being a little shit during the whole thing, until pomni comes into her own as a top and gives him The Look™️ and goes something like "jax, if you really want my *attention,* just keep saying shit and *wait your turn*."

Oh. Oh I see the vision. Now granted, this may not work perfectly since part of this whole point is that all punishments after center of attention are done privately- just Caine, Kinger, and whoever Caine is being punished on behalf of.

So it might not work for what I have planned specifically, but I will keep this thought in my back pocket.

As for who's next- God, tough call. I've been wanting to write the Ragatha and Kinger one for awhile, but I also desperately need to write Caine's various punishments for ep 8

But also I have a loooot to work with for Jax and I just think there's so much to explore on the concept of him having to like. Submit to this particular vulnerability and how a spanking would give him a safe space to let loose a little.

But also once I write for Jax I fear opening the Jax floodgates lol. I do love him but he's not the hyperfocus character and I kinda irrationally worry I'll get pigeonholed into only talking about the naughty bunny

is the Void life threatening or is there a risk of getting lost there forever? Is that why entering it is considered such a serious infraction?

I think it's a mixture of things

It's possible to get lost out there, but it's also unstable and has a lot of glitches and viruses out there. It's essentially digital no man's land. Now the cast are all basically impossible to kill, but there's risk of very serious file damage alongside getting lost for a long time.

They can't get lost forever since Kinger has alerts to track unusual void activity, but the other risks are bad enough.

So uh. There's a good reason why the rule is so serious and why breaking it on purpose results in a pretty rough punishment. It's one of the few things pretty much guaranteed to get a few lashes with the belt.

Lol of course he has look if everyone involved is an adult with a fully developed brain, substance use is fine in moderation and in safe environments. though I think he avoided it until he was able to get his mind file stabilized- in my canon around when they start figuring out how to fix abstraction, they also figure out how to fixed Kinger's sanity issues. prior to that being high was not particularly fun for him because that's just another situation where he's not in full control of his thoughts or brain.
