How it works: Participants sign-up to write a story, or create a piece of art according to the specifications of another participant. In return they will also receive a story or piece of art created for them by another participant.

This is a potentially controversial opinion, but I’m really glad that Liam validated my personal reading/interpretation that Caleb is absolutely not in the right place to even consider any kind of romantic attachments right now.
He’s barely able to emotionally handle having friends. And these are friends he cares about enough to risk his own life for, while also being totally unable to verbally acknowledge how much they mean to him. Dude needs some time to heal before anything else interpersonal-relationship-wise can even be on his radar.
I sort of got into this in my PTSD meta post, but this is another way in which Caleb is very relatable and valid in that sense, and I’m really glad he exists as such a complicated and difficult (is that the right word?) character.
