Masaya’s route changed with the new new English update for the game in a decently sized way and I’m gonna cry… it feels like like the Masaya-chan I know is back in a small way 🥰

This dialogue replaces Masaya’s “Daijoubu, Daijoubu” statement which occurs when he’s trying to get Ringo to turn the lights off in his room prior to stargazing. This is a terrible way to translate Masaya’s dialogue, knowing what kind of character he is, and knowing that he would never pressure Ringo or sass her in this way, by making her emotions and feelings seem small.

Imagine my surprise when I realized for the first time thanks to observing my friend’s playthrough that the new update has changed this bit, and reworded a handful of things. Did Dlsite notice my specific post complaining about this specific scene and this specific line and change it? I will never know < 3 but I am the happiest girl tonight. Please see below for the change to the same line.

It’s Masaya-chan!!!!!!! He is back and a sweetheart again. He may still say “huh?” a lot but he feels a little bit more correct to me now < 3. Happy to hear other’s thoughts. Not enough energy to surf the whole game for comparisons but I know that other things changed and they all feel right.
