staying up until 1am with your friends is like. wow we’re so fucking cool we’re so fucking badass we should go on a road trip or become famous or maybe hang out here forever because i dont wanna be anywhere that isnt with you guys im so full of love and joy and a live fast die young mentality. and staying up until 1am by yourself is like. for the third time this year i am genuinely contemplating suicide. good thing i dont have the executive function to clean up my room
note : this was sitting in my wips for a while and i don't think i can continue writing little snippets for the rest of the characters i had in mind lol. but i feel bad that this was left unpublished so (: an old kaeya blurb for the masses (aka; me LOL)
"oh come on, don't you trust me?" kaeya asks, beckoning you towards the tall, white stallion eating the sunsettia in the palm of his hand. his azure eye sparkling with anticipation as you eye him up and down, uncertainty dripping from your very being.
it's not that you don't trust the calvary captain; you've known him for so long and he hasn't done anything to really betray your trust... well, perhaps that one time that scheming captain had managed to convince one of the old ladies in mondstadt that the two of you had something going on.
with his arm snaked around your waist and pulling your body flush to his side, the older women had trouble hiding their knowing smiles and little giggles. "i apologize, ladies. but my day is occupied by the most precious person in my life. i don't think i'll have time to court any granddaughters for a long while," kaeya informed them with a closed eye smile, much to your chagrin. even as you tried to deny anything, the older folk simply chuckled to themselves about 'young love these days' and left you exasperated and kaeya beyond amused.
but, horses were never your forte. despite loving animals, it's difficult to be comfortable with an animal outside of your comfort zone. what if he didn't like you? he could kick you off of him and you would be flying into the stratosphere and head straight to celestia.
"can i trust him?" you ask, glancing at the seemingly nonchalant horse. "he won't hate me for wanting to ride him with you?"
kaeya chuckles softly, a sound that is both sending anxiety and reassurance through your nerves. your heart leaps through your chest as a gloved hand grabs a hold of yours and gently tugs you forward.
"he wont," kaeya tells you, his eye never leaving yours and a soft smile on his lips. "and even if something does happen, i've got you. i'm not calvary captain for nothing."
in the blink of an eye, the body of the white stallion is underneath you as you're seated on the leather saddle. the world is a bit bigger on the back of a horse, and the added height is beginning to make your stomach churn in the bad way. but before you could go back on your word and demand kaeya to get you off this horse, there's a warmth pressed into your back and the familiar fruity scent of the calvary captain fills your senses.
strong arms adjust your seat in front of him, pulling you a bit closer to him. his hands on your waist sends your mind spiraling with so many thoughts and mental freak outs and you thank barbatos above that the calvary captain cannot see your expression at this very moment.
"don't tell me you're already tapped out? we haven't even left the stables yet," kaeya teases from behind you and you feel your cheeks flush from embarrassment from either his words or his proximity.
"please, it'll take more than this to take me down," you bicker back, though the shakiness in your voice nearly gives you away. you hear kaeya chuckle softly from behind you and before you know it, you're off.
surprisingly, the ride is smoother and much calmer than you initially believed. with every bump on the road or initial freakout of kaeya's horse, he's there to calm either you or your riding buddy. you could feel every inch of anxiety of being on a horse for the first time begin to melt away with how careful and calming kaeya was to you—gentle hands on your thighs that rub circles with his thumb, firm arms steadying you by wrapping around your waist and pressing your back to his broad chest, muscular legs from years of equestrian riding right by your own to cage you firmly against himself and the horse.
but it didn't help when the calvary captain was beside your ear, whispering what to do when he made a sharp turn for whatever reason or calmly telling you it was alright when you stiffened up either from the movements of his stallion or from his brief touch preventing you from losing balance.
"so... how did you enjoy your time with champ here?" kaeya asks once you've returned to mondstadt. the captain pulls the white stallion to a halt in front of the gates at the entrance of the city and hops off. as you begin to turn around to dismount yourself, kaeya's outstretched hand is already there to offer his assistance. though gloved, you could feel the warmth emanating from him and the strength of his arms as he helps you from the tall horse.
"hmm, champ here was a magnificent ride. the rider, however, could use some tips," you respond with a playful smile of your own. you begin to laugh as kaeya looks at you with mock disbelief before his face melts into a knowing smile of his own.
"i guess we'll just have to go on more horse rides together until i begin to improve, don't we?"
your eyes widen at his words; of course, you walked into that one yourself. but... with how cautious and attentive of a rider kaeya was, you're teeming with anticipation for the next friendly excursion with the calvary captain, not that you'll ever reveal that to him.
The fact that animals that care for their young will sometimes adopt others' lost or orphaned young to raise along their own is just funny to me. I know that it's all hormonal and there's no conscious thought involved in it, but the internal logic of it is so funny.
"Baby = success. More baby = more success. I have one baby and I found four other baby. I have five baby. I am being so fucking successful right now."
- eren is the FUNNIEST person ever off camera. literally has tears inducing kind of humor, like whenever he opens his mouth the rest of the cast is already laughing.
- he goes on smoke breaks with connie, jean, annie and reiner in-between takes.
- eremin are dating (fight me) although they’re very professional on set. but also, no pda because they’re lowkey both too private for that.
- armin is also a singer (a really good one too.)
- he sings constantly on set. sometimes even ruins takes because he sings while other characters talk.
- once, on armin’s birthday, reiner posted a video on ig of him singing in his trailer, unaware he’s being filmed. the caption was “does he ever shut up”
- mikasa and armin are geniunely the best of friends. i’m talking HOURS long facetime calls and flowers being sent to different movie sets just to support each other <3
- they also love to gang up on eren hehehe
- mikasa is known for clapping back at rude interviewers. has been called a ‘diva’ so many times, doesn’t care.
- the cast loves to introduce themselves with each other’s names in interviews.
- jeankasa are dating. they do red carpets together, interviews and even went to met gala as a couple.
- connie posts a million videos on snapchat with little glimpes of the cast behind the scenes. he’s the one who feeds the fans the most.
- he loves to post pics of eremin because he knows fans CRAVE even a crumb of their relationship.
- sasha goes live on ig sometimes and tries to include (poor) levi who doesn’t understand how technology works but nonetheless wants to partecipate.
- levi is a sweetheart off camera. has the most bloopers because it’s hard staying so serious for him.
- erwin is EMA’s father. no discussions.
- on his ig, isayama posts blurred pics of the friendship between the cast slowly blossoming. from armin and mikasa holding hands, to sasha feeding connie food in-between takes, to levi comforting gabi after a rough scene, to eren hugging armin after the table scene.
- the cast loves making videos when rehearsing fight scenes. they’re like little vlogs that they either post on snapchat or ig and the fans EAT IT UP.
- several iconic moments come out of them (falls, inside jokes, iconic injuries)
