WHILE on the topic of Chucky, Curse of Chucky takes the CAKE. I love that movie, it may be my absolute favorite Chucky movie, even above Bride of Chucky. Nica Pierce is my FAVORITE character in the franchise, actually. Genuinely top tier movie, top tier acting, top tier plot, top tier atmosphere, everything. Everything about that movie is so good, and it actually scared me a bit. So unsettling, 10/10. Too bad the movie after it (Cult of Chucky) doesn't live up to Curse..

Happy Mother's Day! Anyways, do you think Cady always gets Gemma something for Mother's Day and Gemma always feels guilty about it, even if it's just for a little bit, because she doesn't want to portray herself as replacing her sister as Cady's mom? But Cady's like, no Gemma you are.. also my mom, and Gemma has to look at it from a new perspective: Gemma may not 100% like being Cady's mom but she loves that Cady's her daughter.

Oh, and M3GAN does/gets something for Gemma every year, and expects Gemma to do the same for her, since they're both Cady's parents.

it really irks me how men addicted to sports betting are treated like poor helpless victims of a corrupt industry who can’t help but blow their entire salary on a parlay about a dbacks spring training game but women who overspend on lattes or clothes or blind boxes are stupid and evil and everything wrong with capitalism, whose “overconsumption” is noboby’s fault but their own. ignoring that they are also preyed upon by influencers and corporations.

like to be clear i think neither are blameless, but both are somewhat taken advantage of. i just hate that men are given a way more generous interpretation of their situation when women are criticized much more harshly for analagous behavior.
