something I love about misha Collins is that he engages in ACTIVE allyship.

he doesn’t only say Cas is queer when it’s brought up, he brings it up himself. Like that con where he’s talking about Cas and Meg and whether he thinks their connection could have developed further, he didn’t need to mention Cas and Dean, but he did. And he does that consistently.

I really hope celebrities who do this type of thing (Misha, Mads Mikkelsen, David Tennant, etc.) understand just how meaningful it actually is to see straight actors really lean into the queerness of a character. It normalises being gay in a way that seems so mundane but really can make all the difference to their young queer fans.
