Ivy was quiet as she was led to her seat. It was a dinner to welcome her to Auradon, as the imperial princess of northern Wei. It was awful to not have Lin trailing a few steps behind her in her shadow. They'd always been that way, ever since they were children.

Upon entering the room where her meal was to be served, her gaze fell on a brunette boy in a royal blue coloured suit. There was no crown on his head, but she knew his face from pictures and videos she had come across in her research. King Benjamin Florian of Auradon was to be her dinner date this evening and although she'd sat through many diplomatic dinners with other nobles, this would be the first that she faced it without her lady in waiting.
