II. Comfort in sorrow (Crow discovering he can use his arms again)
Revenge is a dish best eaten cold 🎶
"This tonight, there's dust in the air. Gaze to the moon, there's death everywhere. Running outta time, nothing but despair. Breath's getting heavier. Rings my last hour. Sound of very bliss, You know I won't be missed." - Crow the bitty, Obscur Thoughts
(Aoutch.
Watch my sorry self having panic attacks at the idea of talking to people and thus not log in Tumblr for months. Felt bad about it everyday.
Trying to come back. There's goretober ahead.
Please bear with me.) 🙏🙇
"Okay, pal, listen: don't."
A small bitty walks up to Crow. His eyes are wide, and his pupils star shaped. The main differences between this Blueberry and others was...well, the giant wings sprouting off his shoulder blades, and his quiet and Fearful demeanor... Oh, and the missing arm. "Excuse me...sir? I-i was told this is where I need to go...if I want...payback, Against an owner?" He tilts his head, clutching a rabbit plush. He doesn't sound older then a 12-13 year old

The bodyguard raspberry at the toolshed’s door was quite pleased to see another winged fellow, his red wings expanding fiercely just to show off that he loved his better. Yet, Crow didn’t thought any more of it. Well. It probably /would/ have been nice to fly, but he couldn’t, so why cry about it?
It was another blueberry and, to be honest, Crow started to feel less and less pained about seeing exact copies of his deceased Soulmate. Yet, his gaze lingered a little too long on the missing arm, wondering if it would be considered as rude to ask if the bitty would like one of his spare plastic doll limbs. He was using four of them at the moment as prothesis, and they were life-savior.
“Yes it is, kiddo.” He confirmed, quite upset to have a child needing his services. “What tragic story brings you here and what can I do for your lovely face?”
//proper RP account made!
"well...uh, I had my first owner throw me out a window a few..weeks ago. It's how..uh...this, happened" he gestured to the missing arm "I...I don't know if I want them dead but... I'll admit.. I'm really angry at them...can...can you help me?" He tilts his head "Oh, uh.. I'm Isaiah..by the way."
"Name's Crow." He smiled. "Nice to meet ya, kiddo." He invited Isaiah to sit down on the soil bag near them since it was quite awkward just to be there standing. "First things first, you okay, now? Have somewhere to live?" He wasn't that much of a kind heart but he did learn some priorities. Would be good if the client won't die before the deed is done. If needed, Crow would still be able to send him to Judge's shelter. Leaving someone in the street would be considered as an act of agression by the Horde since it was a part of their territory. "Secondly, have anything to pay?" Crow wasn't really difficult, yet an half-eaten burger won't do. Shinies, monster food, meds or bitty clothes were always appreciated. The kid was old enough to steal if needed.
He sits on the bag, Making himself comfortable. "Yeah, I have shelter for the moment! I'm stay with a friend of mine. An...Alphys-type bitty, I think her species is...thanks for asking, sir." He nods his head politely.
At the mention of payment, The kid nods, and sets down the rabbit, rummaging in his pockets "yeah...I got a penny, and about..one and a half pieces of monster candy!" He takes them out. "It took me awhile, but I managed to take these from some stores." He offers the money, and candy to the other bitty "..I can give you my humans' name, if that helps?
...Sir, again? Outch, that hurt. Was he old? Welp, he wasn't a teenage anymore. He felt old. Like he could be this kid's dad and nobody would find it weird. Hm, at least, the kiddo wasn't roaming the street like a blind puppy.
His orbits widden when his hand ended up with the payment. The raspberry bitty first looked at Crow with disbelief and tired eyelights than at the kid.
"No, sorry, child. We don't kill for-" He just stopped at the mean look Crow gave him, one that said don't you dare break those child's hopes! Yes, his employer was definitely an idiot. "Crow, don't." Sighed the red one. Yet Crow still had the payment in his doll hand.
"Hum." Started Crow. "You just want your owner to get a paidback, but not to die, that's it?" He was definitely thinking about something. "What if we manage to make some traps together? Like, everywhere in the house so he'll be tripping and getting splashed by tomato sauce and he'll probably painfully kick his knee into a furniture?" Less dangerous than downright kill the man. Plus that'll get out of Isaiah's built up anger. Helps him move on and stuff. "You like the idea? Plus it could be useful for you to learn how to make them." Obviously, he was a well-behaved baby blue, but, according to Crow's opinion, every bitty should know how to make traps.
//F SORRY-
"i-i wouldn't mind working with traps! And yeah...i-i don't think he should die... he's got a family and all that..." He looks away, setting the rabbit on the ground "I Know a few basic traps, but... those were mostly used to scare their cat... I've never worked traps on Humans.."
Ah, well, yes, yes! Knowing there was a family there was kinda important. You know, the whole thing 'bout not getting caught and killed?
"How many people there's inside that house?" Would be fun to teach the kid about the traps. He was the same age as his when his uncle taught them to him. For a short while, Crow wondered if he could be a payed survival teacher one day. Like, letting down the whole angst and hate and killing and- No, that was way too fun. He'd like to die on the job, actually.
He soon asked a few more question about the house, its location, the hours where it was empty.
"So there's a cat. A bitty eater or we don't have to worry 'bout it?" Some pets were downright killers. The instinct was something powerful and he wouldn't trust even the most passive and friendly animal. "Anything else I should know before meeting you at the house in two days, kiddo?"
(Pssst, Anon? Do you have any references for Judge? I wanna draw him!)

"Well" Judge started before looking at the Mamba then back at Crow,"This is Tanzan, his owner or should I say asshat, is a butcher and well, According to him, he would cut off many Lamias' tails and sell them as 'exotic' foods,"
Judge continued,"and well, thankfully my owner was able to get him a prosthetic tail, but yeah, According to Tanzan, he would catch strays and I'll let him speak on what he want to ya to do to him"
The Mamba then pulls out a paper and placed it on the ground, it was a drawn map of the butcher's house,"I want all hisss limbs cut off, you can steal all the meat in his storage, I don't care, but I want his limbs off" Tanzan hissed,
-Judge Anon
Oh. Bitty meat as a payment? Well, that was a first. Not on the bitty meat, though, since the Horde wasn’t difficult on what or who to eat. The territory competiting strays often ended as meals too and that was a reason Crow wasn’t up to let his patrons roam alone in the streets before getting paid.
“Hmm... Okay.” He shrugged. He wasn’t dead yet so why not tempt fate? That seemed to be fun. Since there wasn’t any kid involved, he felt a little less empathy right now and, to be honest, it was better for thinking straight. “I hope you are coming?” He asked both. “Same deal, at least 48 hours later, middle of the night, so I can know it’s safe when we strike.” His smiled was calm yet wide. “Can’t wait to see you there!” Spade would be quite extatic to see another mamba, there. Crow wondered how they would react to each other. Yes. Seemed fun.
...
A lot of hours later, at the time agreed on, you’ll see twenty-ish bitties waiting at the point of rendez-vous. Crow was, yet again, writing another poem to the moonlight as he waited for his patrons.
The baby blue's expression flashed with panic for a moment when Crow mentioned going to a shelter. "No shelter! They'll take my brother away!" He tried to force himself to calm down when Crow explained the next steps, still obviously stressed about it when he nodded shakily. "O-okay, I'll be there." The baby blue was already starting to try thinking of a safe place to hide his brother again for the future meeting.
Well, shit. It would be lying to say that Crow trusted any shelter, so the baby blue may probably be right. But staying around? The territory was already distributed, there was no way the bitty was going to be left alone by the other strays. Crow was out of options. Also, maybe he forgot to mention that he needed to get paid for the job? Yeah, totally forgot. The raspberry rolled his starry red eyelights as Crow was getting more and more invested in his Soulmate lookalike’s wellbeing. The weird sansy ended up sighting with a smile. “It’s okay, you can stay there with your bro until it’s over.” He suggested. “There’s no one in this shed when we’re onto something anyway.” He and the raspberry weren’t even sleeping here. Of course, the red one wasn’t really pleased about the whole deal, but he was still considering if it was a good idea or not to wait for them to be outside to slap his boss on the head.
Would it be a yes or a no, the two days soon passed. A street away from the mill were waiting, at the point of rendez-vous, a twenty-ish bittys that were ready to fight two night watchmen armed, the latest with guns and tasers, with the sole strengh of their fangs, attacks, and LOVE. To be honest, they weren’t really anxious about it. Looked like it wasn’t their first dance. Crow was sitting on a big rock, watching the moon glow in the night sky, thinking of another poetry he had yet to write, as he waited for the baby blue to arrive.
"The winged Raspberry looked slightly annoyed, but you don't know why."

A familliar Sansy came into view, aka Judge , dragging a pouch full of jewels, With him is a Mamba with missing fangs, his tail seemed to be also replaced by prostetic silicon tail close to his waist, Judge toss a jewel to the guard and turned to Crow, The mamba looked at Crow then at Judge with a face that just says,'Seriously he's the guy?',
Judge Merely rolled his eyelights before speaking,"Hello again, well we got another job for ya".
((Ooc-Also ya call me Judge Anon!))
To be fair, the missions went and went. Crow was nearing his tenth client, having killed humans and monsters here and there. It was mostly saving friends, family, or killing former owners, nothing too epic, but it was always nice, fullfilling. At the end of the day, he had the feeling that what he did mattered. He did got a second hug, too! A small lamia named Jasper which he had to pull out of an empty fish tank. Like the first time, the sansy somewhat froze, not knowing what to do in such circomstances.
The winged rapsberry at the door took the bribe without any word. He shrugged, now knowing the guy. It was quite nice that clients were bringing in more clients. Things were a little too calm those days.
Crow had a burst of stamina when he saw that someone was coming in. He tried his best to prevent a large smile to appear when he recognize Judge, keeping the serious ‘business’ face. Yet his little back tail went crazy, not that he could control the thing anyway. Always nice to have some news in!
“Cool!” He answered. His eloquence always all or nothing. Yes, there was the mamba too. Crow was merely amazed on how the lamia was still alive, missing so much of his tail. What in the seven hells did happened to the guy. “What’s going on? Who will be dead in 48 hours?” Asked the stray sansy, already willing to accept the mission.
There's now a bucket full of bitty-sized doll limbs right next to the door. It's quite disturbing to see the state of the poor ball jointed doll collection that has been raided to provide those, but, really? To annoy a poor human is even an added bonus to that.
Crow looks proudly at the bucket as he glues on it a small piece of paper where it's written: "Help yourself. Take one."
