Womontown: A Radical Lesbian Neighborhood in the 90s

A story about an intentional urban lesbian community in Kansas City, Missouri told by the women who founded it and lived there. Organized in 1990, and transforming 14 city blocks in the Longfellow neighborhood into a revolutionary community by and for women.

It's only about 30 minutes long and very cool so I recommend taking the time to watch it🌷 There's lots of cool stories and pictures from the women who lived there. Also, you can have a crisis thinking about how they paid $250 a month for a two bedroom apartment.

However, it is a PBS video so I don't think it'll be viewable outside of the US, unfortunately.

Once thought to be a subspecies of the Dusky Antechinus, they were elevated to species status in 2014.

Like other Antechinus species, the males mate repeatedly, for hours at a time, and then die shortly after.
