the thing about those ooc "woooooooow this show is so deep" quotes from bojack horseman is that they strip away the absurdity of the scenario in a way that makes it come off like weird therapy-speak when like 99% of the time the joke is someone suddenly saying something super eloquent and serious in the middle of some crazy shit.

like everyone quotes the "sometimes i think i was born with a leak, and all the goodness i was born with slowly dripped out" line but no one mentions that he says it to vincent adultman, a character who no one notices is clearly three children stacked on top of each other in a trench coat. who then says "dont be sad, nice horsey!" and pets him with his broom/hand

Inuryuu Diary 5 (Spoiler 152)

I'm lacking my dose of Inuryuu. So, I'm going to be loud and start making some Inuryuu hole. Again and again...

I don't even care if I'm blinded by my shipping goggles, just let me be delulu aaargh. I know this chapter isn't entirely about Inuryuu, but the crumbs we got are so cute!!"

Even though Inui looks like a delinquent while Ryuu is all soft and sweet, in reality, Inui is easly scared whereas Ryuu is way calmer and braver.

Their dynamic is so cute, I can't!!

2. It might not be much, but progress is still progress!!

Inui seems to be starting to like come to the day care without feeling the need to run away from Ryuu.

Keep in mind, early in the story, Inui openly disliked kids—he even called Kotaro a 'brat' at first.

But now, we can see Inui’s character development as he more honest about how he feel comfortable around Kotaro (When it comes to Inuryuu, we can never leave Kotaro out of the conversation!!)

3. I don't know how to explain it, but this manga panel just hits different!

Ryuu is seeing more of how deeply Inui cares and like about Kotaro

ONCE AGAIN, PROGRESS IS PROGRESS! At the start of the story, Ryuu was the friendliest and nicest guy, but Inui was the only one he didn't really like.

In every scene involving Inui, we were always shown that he's kind of an idiot but actually good-natured. Sadly, Ryuu couldn't see that back then, but slowly, he's always catching glimpses of Inui's good side now. Good for him.

4. Out of all their friends at school, Inui feels the least close to Ryuu. But looking at this panel, I feel like it's a sign that Inui is starting really want get to know more about Ryuu. I hope they can become close friends, not just as kohai-senpai

here's a secret: whatever you're doing, you have to root for your peers with all your heart because it forces you to root for yourself too. I've seen people in various spheres of my life (workplaces, education, art, activism) fall into the trap of envy and resentment when they see others succeed while they struggle, and it always always goes hand in hand with them pulling back and giving up and stagnating.

People have real issues understanding why the absence of romance and sexual desire is such a big deal. "No one bothers you over your sexual orientation! You're basically a straight person!" No wrong. The older you get the more your life is considered a failure for failing to find a life partner and get your 2.5 kids in.

Like people make fun of middle aged women for not getting married or being divorced or "always the bridesmaid never the bride" and all like "oh she's desperate! No one wants her! Old maid!' but they become straight up hostile and upset when you tell them you never want to date.

Being unpartnered after your mid twenties is just like "oh what's wrong with you" and "don't worry you'll find your guy" "aren't you afraid of being alone" "who will take care of you" "you're running out of time to have kids" and no matter what you are or aren't people straight up don't understand that you don't want them.

People tend to forget that queer is a word that means weird, and if you step out of heteronormativity you're weird in the eyes of the heteonormative society, wether you want different relationships or no relationships at all.

The core wound of this demographic is being rejected and being relentlessly asked to stop your bullshit relative to romance and sex, and to get back in the ranks. The aroace definitely qualify.

And since being rejected is obviously a veeeeery common trauma in the queer community, and people tend to reenact unhealed patterns, it's not rare to see queer people rejecting other queer people with shit like biphobia, being picky with who "qualify" as trans, dismissing aroaces etc...

Let's put rejection somewhere on a dusty shelf for a while and see how it feels. I'm sure it's freeing.

It’s late and I’m supposed to write short stories instead of a long rant about a game that’s not even out. But after watching the Slow Damage PV another hundred times and seeing that the N+C fandom is kinda dead. I decided to add my little, possibly going to remain unseen theories/headcanons/speculations/guesses etc. for the fans waiting for something new.

Note that nothing of what I’ve written is to be taken at face-value, it’s just my speculation and feel free to correct me on anything or share your theories with me. Anything to make this agonizing period of waiting a bit less agonizing!

First, these guesses wouldn’t be as strong without @shinocchidesu’s text decode on the PV and the inverted sketches @bara-mink (sorry, for some reason i couldn’t tag you :C) made to get a new perspective on the images, and they look clearer!. Kudos to them!

To start this trip, I may warn you this is gonna be long as heck. Be prepared.
