I’m at my surgeon’s office to meet the office staff before my rotation starts and they have a TV that’s playing a bunch of like sponsored pharmaceutical ads and I don’t know how I feel about that?????

Normal in my experience. Both my PCP and my cardiologist have the same thing going on.
Probably shouldn't be normal yet, here we are.

I don't mean that Dean ever would choose Cas over Sam but, that doesn't negate the fact that Dean was being an asshole to Cas.He could have at least helped Cas out a little bit. Helped him get set up somewhere or give him some cash. Or teach him how to credit card scam like the boys do. Gone with Cas for a day and left Sam/Ezekiel/Gadreel at the bunker for a day or two.

My personal record for the highest blood alcohol content in a patient was broken tonight. It was .497, and patient was still conscious and talking, though not much of what she said made sense.
Previous record was .495, that patient was not conscious, went into respiratory arrest, ended up in a coma, and probably suffered severe brain damage if he survived.
By comparison, legal intoxication in most states is .08
Medical peeps, what was the highest BAC you’ve ever seen, and what was the result?
I wish we had someway to test this in the field. I will say that in the stories I have heard from medical professionals, your number is the highest I have ever heard. However, I did find this: https://www.policeone.com/patrol-issues/articles/5916155-DUI-suspect-with-627-BAC-arrested-in-Iowa/.
When I was working in the ER someone came in and their BAC was .45 it was crazy. He was still walking and talking coherently. We also had another pt who was in DTs having alcoholic seizures and his BAC was .257
