sometimes i wonder about krycek's reputation to the general public.. do you think people ever talk about him at the fbi? or did csm put an end to that? "fbi agent revealed as double agent and talented assassin who then aided a fellow agent's abduction, assaulted the assistant director, and murdered bill mulder in cold blood before disappearing to russia, after which he reappeared (missing an arm) in order to help fox mulder in his search for aliens, betraying government higher ups as well as his bosses in russia" is a crazy story to have floating around

if i have thoughts about an x files ep i go to wikipedia to reread the plot and then i go to the reception section to see what everyone else thought and i love how they always quote the same ~3 critics

Making aus as a fan who fixates on one (1) character is so hard because I do truly want my blorbo to be the prettiest girl at the party. All the other characters need meaningful moments and important motivations and backstory and internal thoughts. But here's my special guy. Everyone look at him the most. Krycek should have been Scully's informant à la Deep Throat or X. Right under Mulder's nose. Krycek would draw satisfaction from snitching on his (ex-)employers in a way that would drive Mulder mad. How close would Mulder get to actually murdering Krycek with his bare hands when he finds out? How pissed would he be at Scully for trusting Krycek even a little bit (Mulder being a hypocrite here)? I want this love/hate triangle
