Decided to redraw my human Kryptos digitally. Good practice for getting used to Illustrator again. It’s quick and messy, but came out a lot better than I expected it to. So, overall, I don’t think I can complain.

Finally put an outfit on this guy! I swear, I can’t seem to draw him without making him cry. It’s just too tempting and just always feels right. Oh well. Those hands are a nightmare and the proportions don’t feel right either, but it came out pretty good despite that.

Messed with my design for human!Kryptos a bit. Tried to make his hair fluffier and messier. The camera really messed up the colors and all attempts to edit it to fix it did very little to help.

Guess I’m just in a draw Bill Cipher mood right now. Was trying to do my own design of what I think a human Bill would look like. That floof of @the-space-case kinda rubbed off on me though. Not a bad thing since it turned out real cute though! This is probably the only thing I’ve drawn that I’ve been really proud of recently.

Originally it was a full body drawing with him in heels. And then the fact that I have no idea how to feet or legs became blindingly obvious. So, have this waist up shot of him instead. Such a cute design!

So, I started the day 8 challenge, but didn’t finish in time. It’s a scene redraw and it’s honestly been a lot of fun so far. I think I might give up on the challenge and instead do scene redraws of different scenes from different shows every month. Best case scenario, a different scene every day, but I’d like to try and spend no more than a week on each.

So, Day 6 was NoTP day for my drawing challenge I’m doing. Honestly, I don’t really much care about Gravity Falls shipping so I decided Dipper’s most likely reaction to finding out people ship him with the other Pines would be fun to draw. I realized I forgot his hair RIGHT before I took this photo so its not great. But honestly? I’m just happy I’m actually keeping up with this.

SO! For my new year’s resolution, I decided to make a blog for my art, both drawing and writing. That’s this blog! I also started a drawing challenge. Day one was favorite male character and so we’ve got a bunch of sketches of Bill Cipher. The ones where he’s crying were a lot of fun because I’m mean, haha! Day 2 was favorite female character and Mabel got that spot. It was hard to pick since I really like pretty much every character in Gravity Falls. Robbie got Least Favorite Male Character, mostly because I almost forgot he existed. He’s not a bad character, just... Not the most well established. Pyronica got Least Favorite Female Character on day 4 simply because I wanted to draw one of the henchies. And then day 5, today, is OTP day. I.... Don’t really ship for Gravity Falls so I decided to do a joke thing with Kryptos and Bill. Although I could totally see Bill and his henchies being this big polyamorous bunch of loving each other. I can’t find the post for the drawing challenge thing or I’d reblog it. Unfortunately, I don’t have any way to scan these so bad phone photos are going to have to do for now. I’m mostly doing this to force myself to draw every day so that I can get better. Also, I never want to see Pyronica’s horns again. Just... Bleh.
