I know guys, you all wanted this. My fringe oc and me ranting about them. :3
Im still workshopping their lore but basically they were forced to work as a lab assistant for a bad guy. She ends up betraying him and escapes and helps the Fringe team take him down....temporarily (he pops upbhere and there to make her life hell). Afterwards she doesnt really have anywhere to go and still has some rather valuable information and ends up working out a deal with Broyles. So now she works alongside Astrid as a sort of lab assistant.
In terms of personality she is a bit all over the place. On the outside she has a bit of a cold demeanor and may seem rude on accident. Once she gets more comfortable she can be quite eccentric, eccentric enough to rival walter at times. She is an absolute nerd and geek. She has a tendency to be a bit careless with herself and takes a lot of risks. She also struggles a lot with paranoia after her whole hostage situation, she often looks around like she thinks shes being watched. After her escape she would become a bit of a hermit even while working with the team and it took her a while to comfortably go in other places without another person. They tend to be a bit fussy and protective over those close to them but in a very subtle way, they find it difficult to express their care but they do try in little ways. Shes also very much willing to resort to violence in order to protect the rest of the team, sometimes a bit too willing.
For her relationships with the characters: With Walter she gets along with him quite well. They are both rather eccentric and science obsessed, although she is usually a lot more logical and easy to reason with. Walter sees them as a child figure or student. He does care about her quite a lot. At first Curie is very very wary around him thanks to what she went through but once she starts to trust walter she looks up to him as a sort of mentor.
With Peter It's sometimes strained, at first Peter is sort of jealous with the way her personality makes her get along with Walter easier than him but eventually he gets over it. Together they can be a lethally smart duo. They tend to bicker like siblings but regardless they care about each other.
With Astrid its very much a friend situation. With how much time they spend together working with Walter they formed a bond. Curie also looks up to Astrid quite a bit and finds her to be an interesting person to be around. Astrid finds Curie endearing and while Curie and Walter can at times be...well an exhausting combo... she still cares deeply and sees her as something of a little sister.
With Olivia, Curie is shockingly a bit intimidated by her. Out of the rest of the team it takes Curie the longest to warm up to her but once she manages to its a similar situation with Astrid. Although Curie sees Olivia as more of a sort of aunt figure than just a friend. They can bump heads at times but most of the time they get along fine.
With Broyles the relationship is mostly professional. She doesnt mind him most of the time and is rather grateful for being allowed to work on the team. Broyles was very hesitant at first due to how young she was but considering she didnt really have anywhere to go other than foster care (which she made clear she would've ran from immediately), and she helped out a lot, he ended up working out a sort of lab assistant internship for her. Whenever he does come around he will ask about her to check on how shes doing.
Little facts and tidbits:
She has a scar on her neck from her kidnapper placing a tracker in her neck
She is a cheeto addict, despite being quite a clean freak it isn't uncommon for her to have orange stained fingers.
She loves stupid graphic tee shirts.
She loves snails and slugs, especially sea slugs.
She has on occasion brought in random bugs from outside to look at in the lab. This also resulted in the nickname "Slug" from Peter after having brought in many....many slugs.
She chose her own name and named herself after her favorite scientist for their first name and their favorite animal for their middle.
They have parents but they were abusive shit heads so she ran away at 15 which led to her being tricked and then kidnapped... while kidnapped her father ended up in jail for drunk driving and their mother isn't anywhere to be. found.
They are Aroace and Libragirl (they are mostly agender but still feel a little bit like a girl).
