“The Other” Monsters and identity: Survey

Hello all! you may have seen me posting about/talking about my graphic design thesis I am working on this semester!

My thesis is focusing on exploring how neurodivergent and queer individuals relate to monsters or animals in media. And the first half of it will be illustrations based on monsters that can be interpreted as representing the other in society. I hope to actually include real people's experiences in this which is why I made this survey!

Too Many Firestars

These are all the firestar (some aus) designs I have done so far... that I could find, tbh Im pretty sure i have done more.

I thought it would be fun to show how much my art has progressed through my Firestars since he's like the guy I most draw other than Leafpool. He's also the first design I ever posted to Tumblr!

tbh I havent read the books in years, I run on pure vibes with WC bec I cant handle reading the writing past the first arc lmao

its up to you though, if ur doing the first arc for your comic then I suggest listening to the audiobook on youtube it slaps

If yall have followed me for a long time you know that I have a problem where I cant stop redoing my Firestar designs... I am never satisfied.

Anywaysss here's an new Firestar! The old one was good but there were some changes I wanted to make to here we are lol. This time we have a full 3 stage evolution hehe

I gave her a lot of the same features as my previous design bec I still love that one! I also gave her the same white face mask as Redtail! they also have opposite spots over their mouths <3

she has stars in her eyes as a ref to the fire prophecy but its not like a permanent part of her design.

I usually draw him with no white but I've been seeing designs of him with this cute face mask and I wanted to add it to this design! Also I liked that I could add in those muzzle stripes so he matches his daughter Sandstorm <3

Ravenpaw!!!! My baby boy!! Raven will always have big purple eyes & gigantic floppy ears to me...

I did a poll and most ppl think that Raven is tiny yet lanky (I agree)... Idk if I got across the tininess in this design but he sure is lanky!!

Also, for those who have followed my au designs on my other blog- this is kinda a merging of two of my prev Ravenpaw designs!

I just changed Raven's eyes to have some green in them! Also I'm going to start making all the front view headshots have necks bec a lot of characters look weird without their neck fluff lol

Lionheart!! I swear someone sent in a request for this guy but I cant find it, so maybe I simply wanted to draw Lionheart.

I love how this turned out, I love his lion traits <3

Whitestorm or Redtail?

Guess who's back to doing WC designs!

Here's Whitestorm! I love making him a light gray colorpoint so I will yet again ignore canon :P

Also I gave him scars based on the ones he has in the graphic novel!!!

If anyone needs a comprehensive family tree of Thunderclan that i tweaked to have the least inbreeding I could get... uh here ya go.

Im slowly adding my own art/designs but currently most icons were made using the ClanGan Pixel Maker! (I decided to fill out the full tree w/ pixels so i could visualize what i wanted to do for their designs in the future)

Hey yall! Sorry I have disappeared off the face if the earth heh...

Schoolmaster been kicking my ass (and my mental health is really poor rn) so I am not going to be posting much art for a while sadly.

I do have many projects and ideas however I simply do not have the time or spoons to do them right now.

Tbh I might go back and re-do this one, I think I want her legs to be more stubby, she's supposed to be small hehe
