i do not recommend petsmart critters and hate to support them but I saw that small child and knew I had to have her

so uh I forgot to make an intro post so

my name is Ren, I like snakes and freshwater fish! I’ve got two bettas named Poseidon and Earth destroyer (separate tanks ofc), two corn snakes (Ember and another.. I’ll start posting them once they are done with quarantine), and who knows how many Neocardinia shrimp are in my fish tanks

constantly learning more of course, never stop discovering new things

I’ve made a lot of mistakes (and probably still are making a lot) but I’m trying my best <3

Hey, so, if anyone who sees this is ever considering purchasing a rat snake of some sort... don't buy from this guy

He is powerfeeding. This shortens their lifespan and makes them very likely to become severely obese. And frankly I think he's also lying to some degree about what he expects a hatchling rat snake to be able to consume. Maybe a 10 gram hatchling could choke down a fuzzy and be at significant risk of regurgitating it the whole time... but my newly hatched corns? Absolutely not.
