I’ve set up a twitter account that I will be using from here on out.  Again, it won’t be very active until the semester is done but I’m getting things lined up and ready to go.

I’ll probably be posting some older work on there to start things off again.

As far as tumblr is concerned...  I’m not quite sure?  I’ve always liked it as a place where I felt like I could post whatever I wanted to without fear of being judged, but ever since the content changes I don’t feel so welcome any more.  A lot of what I draw ends up feeling borderline-NSFW or horny in some way and I’m not sure where that would fall concerning the new community guidelines.  I can continue to upload the for-sure SFW stuff here, of course.

As far as my NSFW account is concerned, I will migrate that to twitter as well, which you can find here.

Hello Tumblr...!  It’s been quite some time, hasn’t it?

Life has been pretty turbulent but I’m getting things back on track.  I ended up enrolling in LCAD’s Game Art program and am now a full time student again.  It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but I truly believe it is what’s best for me.

Unfortunately I was assigned a killer schedule this semester and all my time has been going into tackling my school workload.  17 credit load; 6 Studio courses and 1 GE, and I haven’t been able to work on anything personal since I started the semester at the end of January.

My first semester here ends in about 3 weeks, whereupon I’ll have nearly 3-4 whole months off before fall semester begins. During this time I will do my best to be more present and keep everyone updated.

For anyone who has been following me who reads this, thank you for being so patient!

I did this originally for male body practice and then decided to try sketching out a more intimate scene between these two.  Working on mood, narrative, and character expression/interaction is something I sorely need to do more of.

Hey how are you doing today ?

I didn’t sleep too well last night and I had a long day at work, so I’m absolutely exhausted.

Aside from that I guess I’ve been okay in general?  BfA came out today but I haven’t even tried it yet; I don’t really feel the urgency to play it like I did with previous expansions for some reason.

Smaugust Day 13: Ice Dragon (??)

Winter Wyvern from DotA 2.  I may be terrible at the game but I’ll always love this character.

I wanted to do more than a boring profile shot, but my unfamiliarity with dragon anatomy and bodies made it difficult... and then I forgot to save my file, argh.  Something to practice and study.  I want to revisit and draw more of ther for sure.

Smaugust 12: Lava Dragon

Didn’t have much time today so a sketch is all I could do.  Trying some new brush settings and also for a more stylized approach.

Still haven’t quite figured out how to mix paint into the sketching process.

Smaugust #10, Blue Dragon

Not sure if I’ll be able to stick with the entire month, but any excuse to draw dragons is one worth pursuing.  Though what I ended up with looks more fitting for #9, Forest Dragon.  Oops.

The torso claws and back mane are a total pain in the butt to work with just ignore them please (Her bodysuit has it’s own hard covering/shell on the outside that imitates the claws or something idk).
