"Fight" || pen on paper

28 Years Later: The Bone Temple lives in my brain rent free, easily being one of my favorite movies. I felt everyone had raw, unsettling, and unforgettable performances. I wanted to capture Spike's perspective when he was made to face off with Jimmy Shite in the pool. Every time I have watched this scene, his scared hyperventilating has always gotten to me. I wanted to depict how frightening Jimmy Shite and his cohorts (with foreshadowing for his best mate Jimmy Fox) probably were for him. I did enjoy adding in Sir Lord Jimmy Crystal, highlighting his menacing presence and his violent, twisted devotion to Old Nick. I actually was creeped out by my own art to the point where I had to get up every 20 minutes to shake it off 🤣 poor little Spike! The red splotches were an accident, but I thought they worked really well with the piece. I'm very happy with how this turned out!
