Excerpt from my upcoming book. Thoughts?
They Went Home by Maya Angelou.
I can relate. You can everything a man desires but still they go home to where they want to be. Don’t give yourself to everyone, give it to the one who stays - the one who deserves it.
The path you choose to take and the choices you make to achieve your goals will always surprise you, but nonetheless, the ultimate end dream is always the same—to make a difference, to change the world.
“Somethings don’t get easier. You just get stronger.”

ok firstly I’m traumatized, not crazy, so jot that down
You survived the trauma. You can survive the healing.
It’s ok to grieve for something you thought would last forever.

“the goal is to be a little more in love with yourself than you were yesterday.”
— iambrillyant
Here’s what I think: You gotta be what you are, and you gotta be it all the way. You can’t worry what people think of you on this path. You have to love completely, everyone you can, everyone you choose to let into your life. Pay no attention to those who tell you that you must guard your heart, for in protecting yourself against sorrow, you insulate yourself from so much joy as well. Take time to breathe, not the shallow breaths we have all grown accustomed to in our busy sprints through this life, but deep belly breaths that refill all we lose. Practice an art, any art, it will stretch your capacity for curiosity and compassion and creativity and make you better in a jillion ways. Drink water and green tea, often and more than you think you need. Hear, and what’s more, listen, truly. Be a source of comfort to all you can, a safe base, a time out in the game of Tag we call life. Give and give and give and give and marvel at how full you feel. Find joy and if you can’t, create it. Take care of your body and let it carry you deep into your years. Love. And love more. And when you are loving, fall even deeper in love with what it feels like to effortlessly and automatically put someone else before you. It happens silently and feels more like home than any fairy tale-grand romantic gesture-movie love ever could. . . . #canon #canonusa #tylerknott #tylerknottgregson #canonphotography #canon5dmarkiv #canoneos #photography #art #photooftheday #instagram #instagood #explore #light #chasersofthelight #canonfanphoto # #exploreeverything #create #igmasters #agameoftones #artofvisual #chasinglight #creatorclass (at Helena, Montana) https://www.instagram.com/p/BzlKVUqlleH/?igshid=14zl11ztvup5w

I am so heavy with hope, bloated and bogged down, what a burden to carry.
Buckling knees under the weight of wishing, spine like a question mark, but belief like a period.

I love who I am. I am loved. I am loving. These are the affirmations I’m reminded of whenever I wear my custom “love” in Arabic bracelet. There’s nothing wrong with needing a reminder or reassuring people that you love them. Tell someone how you feel today. ❤️ Get a custom bracelet or necklace in 24k gold plated or sterling silver.
