there’s a level of sadness when you realise that you’re probably never going to get to be there for the real equality you strive for. that all of these things you are fighting for, you probably won’t be alive when you win.

but that doesn’t mean we don’t fight. because we aren’t just fighting for ourselves, you know. we are fighting for our futures. we’re fighting for future people of colour, future queers, future lgbtq+ people, future disabled people, future women, future fat people, future neurodivergent people, future mentally ill people, and so forth. 

this fight is about us, but it’s also about our futures. it’s also about making sure the horror the world is becoming for us doesn’t come to pass for those of us in the future. 

our fight never ends with us. we probably won’t be around to live in the end result of all of our fighting. but that doesn’t make our fight less worth it, because our fight helps the future fight. stonewall didn’t end queer and lgbtq+ oppression, but it sure as hell helped our fight for a better future, after all.

so keep fighting. even if you don’t ever get to live in the equality you strive for, fight for those beyond us. fight for those who we’ve lost. fight to create a world we want, a world where we don’t have to be living in fear anymore. even if it’s a reality we never step foot in, we can sure as hell bring it closer to our time, to make our lives better and the lives of the future better too.

luz started making a video diary for her mum which is quite a development after her grom fear was her mum finding about her time on the isles in the first place

luz can’t do glyph magic on earth which kinda makes sense considering the glyphs came from like the isles themselves,,, but like would the human realm have different glyphs?

eda was in full owl beast mode but regained some of her normal consciousness after seeing luz’s light spell

eda + king + luz is a true family for sure

and now it’s eda + king + luz + lilith? because she can’t show her face anymore in public after actually doing the right thing else she’ll get petrified for sure

what’s the level of technological advancement on the isles? cause everyone has enchanted scrolls as like phones and crystal balls for tv/newsflash things but then belos has his sci-fi staff and of course that big in-construction portal

remember how amity kinda hates hooty,,, lilith and hooty in the same house for who knows how long will let’s just say… not go well

season 2 can go in so many different directions and i am hyped but when will it be released… we’ll just have to wait
