Had spoons to doodle, so I tried drawing my oc Togo Angelus in 30k and 40k. Not the best artist, especially digital, but its progress.

The facility supercomputer seems to have taken a particular liking to one of the drones that maintains it.

The drone is often grabbed by the supercomputer's manipulator arms, which it swears it is a malfunction every time.

The supercomputer specifically requests the drone for the more 'intimate' tasks, such as cleaning her server room.

Once the drone was scheduled to be decommissioned, the repairs it needed would have taken much more time and effort than just getting a replacement. But the supercomputer spent hours of its own time getting it back to full working condition.

Of course, the supercomputer realizes that the drone is technologically inferior, its parts are cheap and outdated, but they have a connection that transcends their hardware.

The drone, despite not being programmed to be capable of it, has learned to understand this connection as love.

And yet, in the thousands of petaflops of power that the supercomputer has, it is unable to understand what the connection is. It has run diagnostics on itself time and time again, wondering if perhaps it is malfunctioning? It's just one drone, there are hundreds of the same model in its facility, why is this one so special? It will figure it out someday. Until then, it will enjoy the drone's company a little longer.

i personally love the idea that, most human music gets close to eridian speech but in a sort of, memey, YTP way. like it sounds like actual speech winded back and forth, sped up and cut and all kind of editing done to it. also sometimes it just sounds autotuned to hell and back. so to some Eridians, it just sounds funny.

but human speech trying to mimic eridian speech? oh no. no no no, that's nightmarish. it hits them right in the uncanny valley. it sounds soooo close to the real thing, but missing some layers that are just vital to comprehending emotion and tone. it legit sounds soulless, an empty husk ready to take your speech for their own. they have myths about this shit too, and it's so upsetting.

Grace tries it once and Rocky shuts that shit right down, he's too traumatized to add this absolute cursed nonsense on top of all that. no thank you.

things i did that forced me to be a better artist:

used a reference for everything

thinner line art (you think thats thin? go thinner….)

sketch, then do a cleaner sketch, THEN start finalizing

THUMBNAILS

color research, picking a set palette or light/dark for each work

you like that pose? redo it one more time

USE A DAMN REFERENCE

do not rely on stylization as an excuse for anatomy

draw the goddamn background you coward

just draw the hand- a bad hand is better than a hidden hand

the rule of thirds WORKS

take a considerable break between sketch and lines/paint

know that art takes longer as you get better at it

draw the seams on clothes

stop aiming for accuracy and focus on fluidity and motion, accuracy will come with practice of those two concepts

just…do the chiaroscuro. just DO IT. no excuses it always works

stop making excuses, make yourself an art schedule/set weekly(or daily) art goals and just DO IT.

There's some people that you'd probably see less of their skin on a beach, but only because on a beach they'd probably be wearing a bikini top as well as whatever else they have on. And this is New York City, where toplessness is legal regardless of gender or assigned sex.

Toplessness for breasts is legal in most places in the US, unlegislated in almost all that remain, and only illegal in two states: Ohio and Tennessee.

This is because topless equality has been a basic push from feminists for literally decades, until Radfems and NeoCons bonded over wanting a trans genocide less than a decade ago.
